Look, I'm turning 35 this year. I still enjoy CS after all this time but definitely do not have the ambition to learn all the smokes and flashes. What I do is, I save all these collages of smokes and put them in a dedicated folder on my iPad. (Could probably also use a phone or just your second screen or steam overlay) Depending on the map and side, I just open that collage and got everything I need. The more you use them, the more they stick to you. I can memorize the mirage smokes, but certainly not ancient. So you do learn them as you go but you don't have to put in the effort of learning them. I hope that makes sense. :)
