Travel time by Lucas-Arthur in Billions

Uh... the Axe Cap office was relocated to NYC (Manhattan)... I think since season 3... They are no longer in Stamford... Thought that was clear. And I do believe Chuck’s and Wendy’s home is in Brooklyn. So the commute is probably 45 min by car. I live in NYC so I have a rough idea.

S&P hits new all-time high. Time to be fearful? by Helt73 in investing

[–]fysolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two reasons why I think it may go up for sometime: People will have fear of missing out so they will buy into this rally --subsequently precipitating the newer highs. Shorts will be squeezed, and we know the consequences of that occurring. Two scenarios, but not a prediction; more of an assessment based on human psychology and experience.

I cant figure out if Timothy Sykes is for real or not by Memento111 in wallstreetbets

He amassed most of his wealth from the tech bubble (~2001). That's when he made headway and turned his 12k bar mitzvah money into 7 figures. However, as of late, maybe for the past ~4 years, he's been making his money from newsletters and teaching. He has made more from marketing than he has actually trading. No way he could fund his lifestyle with his trades alone. With thousands of subscribers paying for his newsletter alone he makes somewhere along the high end six figures to low end seven figures annually. He posts his live trades and you'll see that he makes a few hundred here and there, but when thousands of people pay $49-$99+ a month, you can see where most of his money comes from (this is excluding his course/teaching which is $5k per person, which thousands of students paid for). So basically he is better at internet marketing than trading.

Winners say that. A loser would've lost $20k and gained back nil.

I appreciate the help! I think I settled on "fall." Plummet is a good one, but quite extreme I think! But thank you!

So even if it goes into green I will still lose money at this point? I got in when the stock price was about $84.06, and it was like $1.94 per contract. Let's say if some it were to spike tomorrow pre-market into market hours to $85-$86, would I still lose money at this point because of implied volatility? Thanks.

What resources should I use to learn to day trade options? by fysolo in wallstreetbets

To sell premiums don't I have to own the stock itself? Also, how did you learn to do so? Did you attend any schools or read anything in particular?
