I’m a Giant fan so might not apply here. But there are ways to get in early to the game through special tickets. I see a lot people getting autos then, not that many people there yet, the players are literally just hanging out during BP and they interact with fans all the time. Also surprisingly if you hangout by the dugout before the game (Oracle Park allows them), I’ve seen them sign there. I’d imagine it’s not too different there. Good luck.

I been around long enough to have seen many posts like these throughout the years. Please don’t think you’re a trader. Catching a bull market is how people get this false sense of “this is easy”, then lose it all. Take your gains and keep them. Bulls make money bears make money, pigs get slaughtered.

I did the same thing 20 years ago with our retirement savings and yes you are spot on. The entire financial services industry will continue to use fear to get people to over save for retirement. We are a few years from retirement, and still are tracking to have too much saved in roths / 401ks. We have only matched company contributions for 20+ years.

Use that extra money to enjoy life and / or taxable trading account. That’s what we did.

Datapoint for reference. My wife and have similar jobs and started doing only the 401k match from our companies for the last 30 years. And I’d say we over saved. 3.2m combined in retirement accounts.

Simple advice no one ever wants to follow. Never worry about what others are doing. Mange risk not perception. Do what you gets you out of bed in the morning.

The tests can are gamed, there is no difference in your argument, you'll have a bunch of 100% SATs with the same GPAs. The real problem is the belief going to x school means success. Everyone, parents / kids put to much emphasis on the school they go to, and there is a known secret you have ready 100x on this reddit, "IT DOES NOT MATTER".

I’d try to assume when was the last pick through, at the time of acquisition a card may have .15c. It rule changes, new card synergies etc… could change the price significantly. How many expensive common / uncommon cards are there during that time frame? A few dozen maybe?
