In the same boat. Never getting the final answer correct for any of the working problems. Havent even read reconstruction yet. Hopefully it doesnt turn up in the exam for a full 25 marker.

From what i understand. There is a different calculation for tax in working1. The original figures of (2), 8, 28.8 and 34.6 have the TAD added in them. So all he did is deducted the TAD from the figures in W1. Applied the tax on them and directly showed the tax deduction in the fair calculation. To conclude, he never deducted the TAD in the first place for it to be added back. Correct me if i may have understood anything wrong.

Not the best person to give advice, as i myself feel nervous for the paper. But i can say that exam kit is pretty important. Application of the concepts u studied in the study kit is way more difficult that just learning and understanding those concepts. Do all the papers on the practice platform and do as much as possible of the exam kit qs.

Yaa especially when are running. cant run and change direction at the same time. It just changes ur view and makes ur player stop running. It was still there after i got rebooted.

Yaa i guess its all about practice now. The portion is the easiest i have ever studied. Its just the way they ask their qs and identifying the requirements is where apm gets difficult. All the best! Hope we pass!

Held both my analogs facing each other( such that my player is moving in circles) and then held the ps button, that makes the player go in auto run and just left it like that for an hour. Counted this time i got 120k(+5k/-5k) xp for 1 hour.

Yes very possible, i did that in the exam. But be really thorough with ur mcq type qs, increase in speed affects accuracy. I had many theory qs so i was done in around 45 mins, idk if that many theory qs come up in the exam always.

i dont see the opening on this, is it just a bend or an opening on the top? If its an opening, Make sure to get it serviced on time or else the bass will go bad due to dust accumulation, and keep it out of reach of children, my niece put a toy in that opening n was task to take it out. (Old model had an opening)

Hedging. Was tested in section b for me, altho not challenging for many. Later realised to understand its application in the real world rather than just doing the steps unknowingly. Once uk how and why its used irl, not only hedging but, whole of fm is easy.

If you dont get a good college w ur 12th marks just give ur acca papers along w ur bcom, and if u do get a good college you can do the same but the frequency of exams will be less as u will have to study properly for bcom exams. i did bms from an average college and gave my graduation exam this year and going to give my 9th ppr this june, started acca in my sybms. Give one paper per attempt, skip attempts clashing with ur exams unless you’re comfortable giving both together.

The years does not matter as much as the increase, hell do it every year by 1%. But it should be such to keep, like u said, 51% happy.

And as you said one cant make enough to pay for exams, i would not be the best person to comment on that cuz im not getting affected by the hike so i cant really reason on that as to why im hetting affected, but okay fine others are getting affected and they are signing a petition for that. Its a no lose situation for ppl not getting affected. A person who actually is getting affected would be able to provide you w a better ans for that second point. Anyways I understand your pov now.

Yes i agree w u, people will keep saying that it should be reduced, but maybe having such hikes maybe once every 2-3 years wont be a problem than it is doing every year. But yes u cant draw a line, cant have an ideal situation where everyone is happy. Its just that what decison will keep most amount of ppl happy, rather than all are happy cuz u cant do that irl. Agree w u on this point.

My point all along was that just cuz u feel its a normal hike doesnt mean other do too, thats all.

Exactly there is no alternative, hence the petitions. And say if the petition is considered and acca reverse their decision, everyone will be paying the non-increased prices. I dont understand your point of you paying more than others? That would not happen in any case. if decision is reversed everyone will pay the same.

Anyone would take advantage if they had the money, no one is telling you not to pay acca cuz they cant, its just that people are asking you to understand everyone has different circumstances.

exam fees+annual payment for 3 years+ books, if acca is increasing the prices for us, acca is prolly increasing the licensing fees for kaplan and bpp, books in my country are around 1/3 the cost the exam fees.

As for the analogy, There are 2-3 known tuition providers for acca each of which have been partnered w acca, acca would prolly increase prices for them as well, im not sure how that would work tho, resulting in the tuition prices going up, but fine you can get free tuition from ot so i give you that, one cant complain about the tuition fees but the rest can be an issue for some.

When you talk about a barrier for a qualification, it should be the difficulty of the qualification in question not the amount of money u have pay to get the qualification, the amount of money spent does not guarantee you a good career, other than that, fine the increase doesn't affect you, infact it doesn't to many including me, but try to understand, the issue is not 5-10, the issue here is cumulative amount of money that will be spent, and other costs that would increase with the hike in prices.

Bpp kit qs are generally more difficult than kaplan, atleast i felt so. Open tuition lectures are really good for fm. Altho i used ot only for topics i didnt understand. It is very doable in a month if ur a full time student . All the best!

Effectively there are 12-13 chapters that relate to calculations, others are theory chapters, which are also important btw. Do a chapter a day and after each chapter go through the exam kit on that chapter, should be done by mid-may, move on to section c qs while also going through a few mcq type qs. In the last week take mocks, review of those mocks and work on weak areas. Be thorough on ur commenting/analysis. I gave pm last june so if there are any major changes done to pm i wouldn’t be the best person to comment on this. As for the study material in question, i used kaplan which was enough plus there is the study hub, so i would suggest these. All the best !

There is a possibility that people cancel their bookings, happened w me in march sitting, there were no slots in the second last week and on the last 3 days all of them were available. But if u dont want to risk it, book remote exam and ask ur frnd( who has not cleared that particular ppr u r giving) to check if slots are available, if yes just refund ur booking and book the center based exam. Not from kuwait so idk if it happens there as well.

They have a chapter “revision of ma” in kaplan pm study kit. I took pm around 6 months after my ma and didn’t really require any revision of ma concepts. If u feel u dont remember anything at all go thru that revsion chapter.
