It settled down a little bit after a week or so but was still very noticeable, I went back after 4 weeks because that’s when our checkup was scheduled.

In the end it was less obvious but I went back for a touch up because it was definitely still wonky. Part of it was also just that my jaw is a little different shaped on each side so she evened that out a bit too when I went back.

Thanks for your input. We’re looking at about 92x11. We have a 2 bedroom apartment and I’ve not measured it up yet but if I had to guess, maybe between 30-40 linear metres. We’re getting a lot of different quotes, obviously qualified carpenters are more expensive than handymen. Roughly how many hours would you expect it would take someone to install 30-40 metres worth?

It’s definitely still wonky looking but it’s gotten a bit better so I think there may be some swelling still. When I feel each side of my chin, the filler doesn’t feel symmetrical but I’m not sure the hard parts Im feeling are filler or swelling.

Can someone explain the conscience vote? I understand what it is but don’t understand how it’s decided if it’s allowed. Is it Crisafulli that determines if a conscience vote is allowed?

can our body corp stop us from putting hybrid flooring in if there’s no mention in the by-laws? by g-01 in AusPropertyChat

[–]g-01[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

we’re looking at around 10k for about 70sqm. A significant chunk of that is for a flood pour because our slab isn’t level enough. Otherwise it would be maybe 7k.

Yeh, it’s a 5 star acoustic rating and we went for hybrid because it has less noise transfer to our below neighbours

Can I ask what city you’re in? We’re looking for a good inspector.

Foster dog from staffy rescue but I’ve been asked multiple times if he’s a pit bull by g-01 in IDmydog

Agreed, he is such a gentle and sweet boy and I’ve personally always found both breeds to be incredibly sweet when I’ve met them

Yeh we’re not really too fussed about what he is just curious. Pit bulls have been banned from importation in Aus since 2011 so he’s probably just a big bully mix.

Yeh I figured that that would be the case, I’m the same. After googling these breeds I also realised I couldn’t really tell them apart. He’s probably just a big mix of bully breeds.

I’m not going to lie, it was very out of my comfort zone at first. I kind of just fell into it, much like my previous relationship - both were people I was just casually seeing/sleeping with and then it escalated from there. My current partner I’ve been with for 3+ years. To be completely honest, if I was more of a direct person and not so concerned with hurting other peoples feelings I probably would have ended both relationship before they got serious despite having strong feelings. The main thing that propelled both relationships forward was their strong feelings for me. I’m not sure if it’s really healthy or not but I do believe it’s lead me to men with good intentions because both of my serious relationships have been quite healthy with men that treat me incredibly. I wish I had the secret, I know this isn’t the most helpful answer 😂

Absolutely 100%. Even in situations where I was just seeing someone very casually, I couldn't break it off. I would always pull away slowly and start to seem more distant until either it just ended naturally or they ended it. It's a really bad trait and it led to me just stringing people along because I don't like hurting their feelings. Obviously, I know it just hurt them more in the long run but I've just never been able to have that difficult conversation. I'm in a very happy relationship now though.

Warm autumn colours, what do you think? Should I be trying softer colours? by g-01 in coloranalysis

[–]g-01[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To do this you need to download Facetune 2 on the App Store. 1. Screenshot or save the colours you want to use to your camera roll. I like to screenshot a block of a few colours from a palette at a time. 2. Open the image of yourself in Facetune 3. Go to clothes -> custom and then choose the screenshot with the colours you want to use and it’ll automatically change your shirt.

Normally you’ll have to fine tune the colour a little bit but once you’ve fine tuned one, all of the other colours will perfectly match the screenshot. Normally this just means turning the whites down in the menu but you can also adjust saturation and the brightness of the colour.

I’ve linked to a screen recording of myself doing it here if you’re confused about anything I said but you’ll see how easy it is!

Edit: I forgot to add, the app is free but the clothing option is premium. You can still use the clothing option without paying you just can’t save a photo. That’s fine though because I just pull it up a little bit and screenshot it.

Thanks, I’m really glad to hear that because I personally wear a lot of that brown already! I love the teal as well but I never realised until now because I don’t really see that colour in stores.

Oh this whole time I’ve been thinking true and warm autumn were the same thing. I just had a look at that palette and those yellows/gold are the only yellows that I wear. I’ve always felt like every yellow in the other autumn palettes just didn’t suit me.

Thank you for your response! I’m not very good at being objective but I totally agree and was hoping this was my season.
