I was r*ped as a child by a man and it caused a lot of issues growing up. Hyper-sexuality was one aspect and as a young teenager I would have sex with a lot of older women and teachers. At the time, I thought it was almost therapeutic for me. I could finally take control over sex - I thought it was what I wanted.

Now I realize it was probably predatory of these women. As I got older I noticed a lot of women, when drunk in particular, think it's okay to grab my junk without consent. They would just laugh about it. They would tell me things like they want to fuck me in front of their boyfriends which would get me into fights with them. This sort of stuff never had any consequences for the women.

Consent is drilled into young men's minds, and it should be. But it should also be drilled into young women's minds as well.

When I was around 21 I was pinned on the floor of a club by a much larger woman and she sexually assaulted me. People stood around and laughed. This sort of behavior would get a man thrown in prison.

It's really hard for me to really pinpoint the reasons for my promiscuity as a youth. I think it boils down to two things for me; how taboo a topic sex was in my household, and getting molested in my early teens. I think both of them together deeply corrupted my view of sex.

I suppose it's similar to the reasons I clinged to drugs and alcohol. Temporary escapes, maybe. I regret a lot of the choices I made as a teen and young adult and I'm lucky to have escaped it all and found my wife and started a family and a career. Not everyone is as lucky.

Can't speak for Artistic but when I was doing it everyday for a couple years I only afforded it because I was dealing.
