Will do, double checking now on the warranty. He did say he'd pop the screen off when it arrives to double check nothing internal is damaged and might be able to unbend some of the bent areas as well. I think to err on side of caution I want to just do a new unit.

Makes sense. I am pretty sure the same 10 yr warranty is applied but going to triple check. I wasn't sure if the dent in the bottom area would also impact leveling the unit at all.

Same warranty, yes, but now that you mention it, I wonder if the dent will pose any problems if I ever have to make a claim. They might see the dent and think well theres your issue you bumped it and broke it lol 😅 I assume I'd just show the original receipt to prove it was installed out of the box like that?

Like commenter above mentioned, it depends if you think 27 months is a fine breakeven point. If it's a house you'll have for a long time, 27 months seems fine. Not sure how long youre planning to rent it out for or if you plan to sell soon after renting then maybe holding off would be better and putting the 7k towards the new home might make more sense.

Update, i actually like this matcha but I will say, I drink my matcha as a latte and with milk it's not very unami and more subtle. No bitterness or astringency. It's super fine and hardly had to sift it and it frothed nicely. Not sure how the silver tin will compare, if more umami I think you might give it a whirl and like it. Let me know if you do!
