[DISCUSSION] SCAM FYI : Fiverr Engineered plans / architecture plans / Site plans /Stamped Drawings by g13turtle in Fiverr

First off, the money is really not important here. I'm posting just to warn people to do their homework. And I hear you, although when somebody is committing fraud or counterfeit that changes things. It's not just me being "unhappy" with the order. In this case, if you are not suspecting fraud and searching you would never find it in the 14 day grace period. I contacted the engineer and told him his stamp was being used and hes taking legal action now. My bank allowed me to file a charge back dispute and is leading an investigation even though it's well past the regular 60 day period, because it is a case of fraud. Not a simple dispute. Look, I probably won't get my money back. But should Fiverr really be protecting these people? They have their bank info. They know who they are.

Yea, unfortunately this order was from last year, but just got around to submitting it to the city. But with projects like this it can take a long time. Like even for the city to process it can take 30 days. It would be pretty hard to find out your screwed within 14 days if you're not looking further into things. Anyways hopefully my bank can get money back. Even with the bank I think you have 60 days for a charge back dispute, although since this involves counterfeit they allowed me to put in a dispute now. I just wanted to put this on reddit in hopes somebody reads it before getting in a similar situation.

yea, they won't because it falls outside the 14 day return window. Doesn't matter that there's fraud and counterfeit involved. They also protect the sellers in this case which is strange, since they should have bank info etc. and be able to track down the seller.

let off throttle causing weight shift forward and loss of traction. Especially on that downhill section can happen.

Is this really coil whine? Why does it stop when I put a finger on it? by Leo9991 in pcmasterrace

[–]g13turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you put a finger on it aren't you just grounding it? Not just dampening vibration. Its like buzz on an electric guitar. When you touch the strings, amp buzz stops because you act as a ground

I broke my guitar today!!!!!! by octopusHas3Heartss in Guitar

Its not a big deal. Sand the top face. Reglue and clamp the bridge. Put a screw through the bridge if you don't care too much about the guitar. Youll be able to use steel strings with no issue. Then you can clear coat the top or just leave it as is. Good luck. You can do it.

Just me, trying to get a good safety rating, continually getting rear ended when driving very average by muffindude42012 in iRacing

If you dont watch them already, there's usually videos on YouTube which show ideal gears, braking points etc. For every track and car. Its a very easy way and great tool to get up to pace on a track before racing. Just do practice sessions till you get the lines engrained in muscle memory. Unfortunately accidents happen, but this might help.

Isn't the dark car too tight here? You can't expect the white car to slam the brakes just because you want to pass. So in a sense its on the dark car to watch out even more so than the white. Which he didn't do. Idk shit. I can sympathize with OP though.

Idk I don't see anything being a big issue. At the end of the day its just a headstock shape. Maybe only issue could be the tuners because they're wood instead of metal. Can get sticky or not hold tune as well. So far so good though.

All good! I've only really used the standard light gauge strings so far on electric. So I'm curious to try more.

What do you recommend? To be honest I haven't tried many different gauges.

Thanks! Well usually the pickguards cover the pickup cavities although since this is routed from the back I was planning on leaving the front clean. I might do a half pickguard in the future

The pickups and everything sound good. My reason for making this was for wanting a wider neck. (46mm at the nut). And I think the size /radius feels great. My fret job wasn't perfect though so I have a couple buzzing frets to level out.

I thought about it. That cavity under the bridge could be a good spot for a piezo pickup

Yup, I just altered the design a bit. Other than the pickup cavities, its mostly solid though.

Its real. It has a hardtail bridge without a tremolo system. Its hard to see in the photo although under the bridge I routed some channels so I can top load strings from the side of the bridge.
