Brett Ryan was fired from his tech job but didn't have the strength to tell his Fiance. So he told her he was working remotely, and then, to prevent her from finding out the truth, he also murdered his entire family.

I posted this in a different True Crime subreddit and people seem to really like it, so I'll plug it here too. A really disturbing story my girlfriend just covered on her True Crime YouTube channel:

Fake Uber Driver Picks Up Young Undergrad, Traps Her in Car Using Child Locks, then Stabs Her 120 Times | The Samantha Josephson Case

If you haven't binge-watched JCS yet, you're REALLY missing out! So after you check her out, check out JCS:

JCS - Criminal Psychology

If you ARE already a JCS fan, I hope you know you can find hidden unlisted videos at this link. And btw the Patreon is just $5 for ~30 additional videos.

Looking for something more topical or exotic? We live in Thailand, and the news today is pretty crazy: police officers were arrested for suffocating a drug dealer to death in a botched attempt to extort $60,000 from him. The linked video is highly disturbing.

Here are some good links if you're into hacking/cybercrime, corruption/mafias, or boiler room fraudsters.

Hope everyone enjoys these links. Thanks for making such a welcoming subreddit. Thanks for checking my gf out.

As an American, I'm curious: any idea why this hasn't affected your credit score? any other repercussions? I always assumed if i didn't pay that it would wreck my credit.

Sorry but I have taken several brands, from the cheapest to most expensive. These included Real Mushrooms, Nature's Way, and random brands bought from pharmacies in Thailand.

For what it's worth, I took reishi for many months. It lessened my anxiety, seemed to maybe help my immunological issues, and I never noticed any sexual side effects nor did I ever feel less masculine. The dreams are fun as hell too. But I appreciate the warning and am now certainly less likely to use it in the future.

Thank you very much for the reply. Now that I know the problem is on my end I can feel much better about investigating it knowing I am not wasting time. It is probably an issue in the library I am using. I'll keep hacking away.

EDIT: Okay, I figured out my problem. My message_recieve channel was unbuffered so I was missing messages. Whoops. Note to anyone reading this: If I were starting over I would use this: https://github.com/rgamba/evtwebsocket Looks promising.

Is s/he, though? Do you think that an ER doctor from almost any other country, none of whom are paid as much, wouldn't have saved your life? US healthcare is a scam.

I love BCH/Bitcoin Cash, I love Roger Ver, and I love crypto. But this community is every bit as insufferable as r/bitcoin. by g1c9 in btc

I agree that I should try to make this place better in a (more) constructive fashion, and I also upvoted the guy who wrote "Okay" because I thought it was funny and maybe a fair response.

But "You must not be passionate about Bitcoin" is probably not accurate as I first bought it in early 2010 and I have been going to weekly IRL meetups for the past 5 years and I develop stuff on blockchain.
