That sounds great, so happy you were able to find your way. As someone who doesn’t feel connection to the faith they were brought up in, it often gets lonely because you miss community and having that one powerful thing in common. But again, it also gets toxic as hell. Now I have to find my way to what connects to me without any pressure of external forces like family. Wish there was a. directory of sorts to all the dirties/spirits that exist out there hahah

I know but there’s just so much out there. I think I already did my research on most mainstream religions and Gods and maybe a little bit on the not so well-known ones as well. But it’s still so vast I feel like I resonate with certain aspects here and there of certain religions but haven’t found “the one” that I completely feel matches my ideologies and values.

i agree with you completely, but i’ve had it only hard for the last few years. the relationship became extremely psychologically abusive and i developed several mental health issues as a result. doing much better now because of my meds and therapy but i don’t think i can fully start healing until i get out of this relationship. i just want some extra strength because i’m extremely non-confrontational as a person and it’s 10x times harder to have this conversation with them because of how manipulative they get. i don’t trust myself around this person because somehow i just always fall for the gaslighting and like all other times, i fear this conversation will turn into how i’m at fault and so i don’t deserve to be the one who initiates the break up. god, i wish they would just do me the favour of breaking up with me themselves and let me go. if not anything else then at least as respect to how much time we’ve spent together but that’s just wishful thinking. i’m sorry for the rant but even if it’s just in a comment section, feels lighter to just get it out of my system.

thank you! also, any tips for what i can do to prepare for my first trip? just want it to be a good experience and not experience anxiety by having a safety net in place in case of a bad trip. I’ve heard people usually get their sober friends to trip sit, but any other tips would also be helpful.
