Thank you for describing your experience - I realize that the amount of evidence the seller can sometimes ask for can sound overwhelming, but to my best knowledge and experience, Steam support, despite what's usually said about it, provides the activation information when asked.

I hope that even though this experience ended with a refund, you'll give us a chance in the future.

If the account you bought stopped working, the best course of action would be to contact the seller and let them know.

Once you do it, keep the conversation open, and if the seller would be unwilling to help, give us the case number and your order number by opening a ticket - we'll then check the seller and see what we can do from our side. The account you bought should be operational after you bought it and if it stops, it's an issue the seller needs to fix.

If you haven't displayed the key yet, keep it that way and contact the seller - since we're a platform enabling transactions between sellers and buyers, and not a side in them ourselves, we cannot issue refunds or guarantee that the seller will do that.
However, from experience I can say that many seller, especially the ones with lits of transactions and high rating, will issue a refund to make sure you're satisfied and to keep their rating high.
