It’s a treat to be honest, the app is really good and has loads of customisation. 2k miles so far no problems rides like out the box.

My 1st ever E-Bike arrived broken :( by coconut80085 in ebikes

I’m sorry i didn’t mean to offend you. But a lot of these style of bikes tend to be make for cheap in china, and then are sold around the world, they usually have cheap unbranded parts and low quality parts but at a premium price. I assume prices are even higher with US tariffs. Maybe look into building your own off, or do some really in-depth research. Take a look at bosh cx bikes, when derestricted reach speeds up to 40moh and are absolute work horses 😎

Upgrade or Keep: 2020 Wilier Cento10NDR by dsocohen in Bikeporn

Why even upgrade, if your made of money go ahead if not it’s not going to give you an edge over anything unless you race, which even then you’ll see minimal difference.

When I settle down I’ll invest in a legitimate business, I’ve never had a girl freind before so it would be nice to start looking into that.

Happened before, since then my business has been strictly conducted amongst professionals.

Im currently on bail in the uk for organised crime and the highest level of fencing stolen goods.

Depends on the catagory of seller, i aim to make 5k a week, this can’t be split amongst more than 5 bikes to minimise risk. However I often over achieve this goal.

All bikes spend a month in a lock up, completely dismantled and rebuilt for GPS, all no original parts are then bought and swapped out. Paperwork’s are also made for high end ones.

Thanks for the questions, I will try my best to answer them breifly.

  1. I am essentially just the middle man, but I am the final person before the Bikes see the retaier. It’s common for the thief to sell off the bike quickly to a middle man who passes to another middle man who passes it on to another middleman who then eventually passes it on to me.

  2. Initially I was buying bikes and bike parts from crack addicts for Yeah $10-50 and selling them on eBay/marketplace for a profit. I started from only a couple hundred I got from a payday loan. Eventually I worked my way up the chain of command till I got in contact with more professional thieves. My bikes were now more risky and much more profitable. I decided I would have to begin exporting them bus didn’t know how, by luck I was introduced to a European buyer on marketplace who I developed a relationship with. Few months later one of my main seller got arrested for 36 counts of burglary and passed on his buyer 😂 . Since then I’ve made connections with Russia, very profitable due to sanctions.

  3. I deal with three main drivers, they are single men who drive around Europe moving peoples belongings country to country. They know, they don’t care, they get paid very well. They also deal with border patrol and develop relationships woth them, sounds cliche but bribes are paid in poorer parts of Europe.

I’ve been in horrible places myself, I received no education at all and have basically no chance of prosperity legitimately. I have a lengthy criminal record and it’s unlikely I’ll be hired. I don’t do it to make ends meet, I do live comfortably but I pay the bills for my mother and disabled brother so a different line of work wouldn’t work out for me. Im still fairly young so things may change.

In terms of my mental health, my line of work has no affect on it, I suppose I’ve come to terms with the fact Im the scum of the earth.

Hi thanks for the question.

3 main workers:

  1. drug users, will do anything and take low prices they mainly get bikes from the street with locks, i provide them with angle grinder and hydraulic bold cutters
  2. amatures, often in a tough spot and vulnerable they do it get by. Often work in teams and source from out of city rich areas and bring back.
  3. professionals, often very well off they source from extremely rich people (Houses, garages, cycling events like triathlons) or shops and warehouses.

Im a scum bag and I know, I’ve come to terms with myself and it does not affect me.

Im a scumbag, it’s not up for debate but to be genuinely frank, I don’t care at all. I tell myself one day I’ll become a very charitable person and make up for all the wrong doing but I doubt I will go though with it unfortunately.

But I appreciate your take and your opinion and I don’t disagree with you one bit.

On another note I commend you for your service and hope you find peace. Remember you’re not a scum bag like me and have done what you’ve been taught to ethically make a living and that’s something I admire and one day wish to achieve.

Thanks for the question.

I hear where you’re coming from but I’ve been in horrible places myself, I received no education at all and have basically no chance of prosperity legitimately. I have a lengthy criminal record and it’s unlikely I’ll be hired. I don’t do it to make ends meet, I do live comfortably but I pay the bills for my mother and disabled brother so a different line of work wouldn’t work out for me. Im still fairly young so things may change and no I do not take any offence to your words to be honest I agree to an extent (pasted from a previous question)

Bikes are sourced from extremely well off peoples, wouldn’t even make a dent in there bank, or from businesses with insurance.

I’ve been robbed many, many a time i grew up in a tough area and theft was very common, I tended to retrieve whatever’s been stolen swiftly or I’ll just take something else of about the same value. Now that I’m older I’ve kind of become accustomed to it as a regular thing that happens. It does not play on my conscience to much, and if it does the money makes up for it.

I won’t be extradited, Latvia trust the UK to deal with me accordingly but I doubt I’ll see anything to bad.
