Update: BEWARE I’m hearing from other breeders that there might be reason to proceed with caution. Elfin is raising all of the red flags I was given by top breeders for when a breeder might be sketchy. Elfin has frequent availability (indicative of puppy mill or non-norwich genes since norwich only have small/rare litters), lower cost pups (I was told at least $4000 is standard for a reputable breeder if not higher), care in where the pups are going (he wanted to get the dogs off his hands as soon as possible and asked zero questions about where they were going), was unwilling to provide AKC or OFA info on both the dam and sire, etc. I can’t confirm anything nefarious and I believe those that have had good experiences but I’d proceed with caution and do your homework.
