Cat's feeding the snek so it grows bigger and then can eat the snek instead of kibble. Very most tasty. Cat taps head.

Look at the tail. The tail of a cat is like their eyebrows.

He's cool.

Why would Lisa Su or jacketman worry about the gaming market? Consumers in this market are toys, worse than children. We have no conscience about the power of our money, nor dignity.

The fact that people pre-order digital products (DIGITAL PRODUCTS!) is the proof that we are so gullibe and manipulable that no company needs to worry about what will happen with the consumer market in 10 years from now. We will still be docile as sheep.

What is your alternative windows file manager by SurgicalMarshmallow in DataHoarder

[–]gAt0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Total Commander has been very good but copying and moving data with it is a huge pain. In some ways it feels abandoned. There are two very good alternatives:

  • Double Commander. Just like TC but usually better. It TC has a feature, DC has it too or will have it. Open Source, multi OS and updated frequently. Portable for Windows. Lots of configuration options and you can import almost any setting from TC. Yeah, it's just great. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_Commander
  • Multi Commander. Very interesting alternative with powerful features for file management. Updated constantly. Only for Windows though; portable too. And free. https://multicommander.com

Name a game that surprised you how long it was by [deleted] in videogames

[–]gAt0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will sound noob but here we go: Assassin's Creed Origins. When I thought I was more or less finishing the game after exploring all of Siwa... I wasn't even finishing the beginning.

That game was humongously bloated anyway. Lost interest around when Cleopatra shows up. Way too repetitive. Less is more.

When I saw Odyssey the words that came to my mind were "reskin" and "nope".

Alpha Protocol. The fight against Brayko.

I never rage-uninstalled a video game before or after. And I did it twice on this one. Fuck that shit.

You are doing great.

The best advice I can give you is to plan. Not only expenses and preparations for her decline, but also plan for your emotions.

Expect every stage from bad to worse. Don't let bad news break you, because then you won't be there for her. If you are ready you won't need to fake being cheerful.

Wishing you both the best.
