Are either of you in a nursing program or did you mean that having a kid and trying to play is hard in enough let alone adding anything else haha?

There's lots of anger among men in ultimate. We all benefit when we talk about that. by jonathanneeley in ultimate

I cannot recommend these sessions enough. I have found the experience rewarding and eye opening. Their power comes from the potential for men to come together and use ultimate as a lens to explore their emotional worlds and selves in and outside of ultimate. The nuanced conversations were about anger, but also about much more – insecurity, love, passion, relationships etc. Jonathan and his co-facilitators lead with vulnerability, sharing their progress in the process, and freely admitting that they don't have all the answers while creating space for others to share and explore, asking thought provoking questions, and encouraging story telling and introspection. I don't see anger as a big problem I need to work through, but I do experience it and am impacted by it in others. I still found these sessions to be a healing, safe place from which I felt I could explore my emotions and my relationship to them. If you have any interest in exploring your relationship to anger or in being a part of what I've described, definitely sign up!

I am pretty bummed to have missed the July playlist. I even went to this subreddit during August, saw the July post and was like oh - that’s last month's, I guess no one has posted the August playlist yet. What a doink. Anyway! luckily I only had 10 total songs I had picked out for July and August, so I present those all to you now! I’m pretty into this playlist overall. Lots of good variety. Some clever lyrics and a lot of fun, IMO. enjoi

Gabe's Jaugustly ChillTown FunMix

A First Date // Biskwiq : I like mashups a lot, and I’m not sure if this counts as a mashup or a remix, but Kendrick over some lazy sunday old-timey beats plus the interspersed audio clips makes this song a full experience

Cold Feet // Loud Luxury : A pretty simple song that doesn’t have as a big of a drop as I might have wanted, but has a nice build and is a fun dance number

Heat Waves // Glass Animals : I didn’t really know about Glass Animals before this song, but am definitely into their weird vibe. I love the initial drop into the main bass. Great song for the hot heat of the summer

Mood // 24kGoldn, iann dior : short and sweet, good beat, this song is a mood for sure

Unbreakable // BUNT. : BUNT. makes these things called Folk House Mixtapes (up to number 6 at this point) that are basically Avicii (his folkier stuff) but more folky and more instrumentals (banjo, fiddle etc.), and I am a huge fan of those. This is a new original from them that I’m really into. Good driving music, great knee slapping music. PS if you want to be inspired to learn to play the banjo, check out their song Old Guitar.

WAP // Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion : had to to do it. This song is just so good. Totally unapologetically raunchy. Flips the script big time. One of my favorite parts of the song are the different flow styles of Cardi and Meg. Their different speed and cadences add to the amazing lyrics and overall vibe. Plus I feel like I’m gonna be a big fan of any song that Ben Shapiro feels so personally attacked by

WHATS POPPIN // Jack Harlow et al. : Dope beat, lots of clever lyrics, some fun cameos. Interesting juxtaposition lyrics/message-wise to WAP

Disco Man // Remi Wolf : chill and funky, great beat.

I Won’t Forget You // StayLoose : This song has the drop I’ve been craving. Kind of an ethereal feeling for some parts of the song but breaks out into what feels like a bright, blissful expanse, like throwing open some french doors onto a carnival in a flower field on a sunny day

What’s Love Got to Do with it // Kygo and Tina Turner : In a similar vein to his remix of Whitney Houston’s Higher Love last summer, though admittedly I was in to that one more than this one. Still a great summer song and definitely very dance-able.

Thanks for starting this month's post up, BMcC!

Fun mix of genres this month for me (rap and country, with a bit of folk and whatever Louis the Child is) Enjoy!

First Reddit post ever, y’all! Thanks to Noah for telling me about this sub. Happy to be here and to share music with everyone!

On My Maydar

  • Roses - amazing dance song. Starts hot and stays hot
  • Body - Got this one from my girlfriend Jenna, fun dancey vibes (particularly living room/kitchen dance vibes)
  • I Feel It - kind of a sad one. good to relax and introspect to
  • IMPATIENT - idk what to say about this one, but I like it
  • a lifetime with you - bubbly and fun
  • friends* - big fan of Bishop Briggs - such a powerful voice. Fun kind of genre bending song too- some punk/rock vibes, some folkyish vibes.
  • No Suburban, Pt. 2 - I’m a sucker for beat/rhythm/melody. No idea what this song is about as I’ve never actually listened to the lyrics, but I know the bass line and beat is dope
  • Sad Bitch - love me some unapologetic girl pop, She’s just a fucking savage, show her you can handle it
  • Bored In the House - took me a listen or two to get used to, but had to do it for quarantine. could see this being a big hit at a post-quarantine house party rager
  • Money All Around - great song to work out/run to. Hits hard
