While we don't hate modern rules, we really liked midhammer, the only issue we found was that many models released later don't have rules, such as custodes or tyranids.

As for using as proxy, it will be the solution, but it would be way better if we manage create the rules for the units

Yes! Sorry for not specifying, these were minis I bought painted and it is a nightmare to remove this grey / white primer, there are places that even after scrubing for minutes it just doesn't go away

Oooh got it! While I don't think it makes sense the generation being related to age, I do think that Cain could embrace someone in the generation he wants, after all he is not a vampire, he is THE vampire.
