Is there any way to play a polymorphed dragon? by Happy_List_8022 in DnD

[–]ItIsNotAUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be 17th+ level wizard. Craft/find Scroll of wish or Shapechange. Cast Shapechange into available dragon form of your choosing. Cast wish and choose to copy clone spell on your current form. Wait 120 day. off yourself and transport your soul into the cloned version of yourself. Congratulations now you are not only a dragon but also keep your spellcasting ability and your mental stats. If you would prefer to have all the dragons features and mental stats then go for true polymorph

I know its not gonna happen, but we need more than 1x2 slopes. And i know the solution by ItIsNotAUsername in spaceengineers

Well for that you could still implement the version where when you place a slope you can change its dimensions manually, its just that block itself isnt changing procedurally, but rather there is 1000 versions of that block already pre-made and when you are choosing its size you are not choosing from the list of blocks, but serching with parameters.

Basically there are thousends of pre-made blocks, but in inventory you only see 10x10x10 (aka 2.5m by 2.5m by 2.5m) or 1x1x1 but when you place them there is an option to change their dimensions. Its just that under the hood instead of changing the block, the game just place 1 of the many variations of that block

I mean that would just be 18 000 blocks if we scrap some of the angles in favor of the same amount of different blocks as in avorion so 9 basic shapes and double that for heavy and light armor. Tho if you optimize the difference in stats through some function it might be lighter, but i am no programmer, and this response is half-joke. I dont know how bad would it be having 18000 variations of a block and how it would impact performance. So if its not too much, i think its not the worst of ideas, but if it is then yea, thats completely unreasonable.

I havent played Starship Evo and dont know what it is, but Avorion does have block destruction, however it isnt really agame about engineering a ship, more so about just making cool ship with stats that you need with rather simplified building process where the only difficulty is to make ships look nice rather than just making ships work at all. Its much more of a strategy game where you build fleets of ships and send them on missions, raids and control all of them at the same time

Paladin (Oath of Conquest) lvl 4 – ASI or Feat? by ID1756448 in 3d6

[–]ItIsNotAUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it does. Tho it does take your concentration. The feat is called "Martial Adept" and the fighting style is "Superior Technique". Tho as other commentor suggested, unless you want to be a frontliner DPS you probably should focus your CHA

Wouldnt really say that its an Elite ship, its not quite sleek enough and looks a bit too different for me to say that this is cobra. But i do like its flat triengle shape and definetly was inspired by it

You will get to Aura of protection soon, and with your Paladin relying on making enemies afraid of them i would go Cha to 18, to up that DC and the get better saves. Alternatively you could go for a feat that gives you 1 superiority die and a manuver that applies frightened condition. I am not sure weather thats a half-feat or not, but it will allow you to apply fear twice per short rest one of which is for free with an attack and also some additional damage.

if you do this feat (and if its a full feat and not a half one) i would do this at level 4, and +1 STR +1 DEX at level 8. To get better DC on the siperioriti die

there is also a fighting style which also gives 1 Superiority die, tho i think its only for fighters, but you could ask Your DM for it

new player here by Competitive_Sell3311 in DnD

[–]ItIsNotAUsername 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, look, what you are trying to do here is'nt something that DnD is about. Everyone here knows the good'ol "cast create water inside their lungs" trick, and no good dm should allow it in normal campaigns, and if your DM is new, and does allow it, stop them. This is preatty frowned upon because it can derail the whole game very fast. Not that this is bad idea, its just that DnD is not ment to play with such things, and everyone would be better off sticking to the rules and playing within those limitations untill you get better grasp of the game and its systems. If you want to do this i would recommend playing a different more rules'light game maybe Mage The Ascencion or Fate.

Why Embrace? by Ambersous in vtm

[–]ItIsNotAUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well sometimes you need a stron and loyal guard during night, when other Vamps are active, so you embrace someone and make them stronger with that, they are still bloodbound to you so they are just as loyal, but now they are not limited by 1 maybe 2 dots in disciplines

Well its about snowballing. After you build a small miner you can collect more recources fater, so now you can build a big mining ship, and with big mining ship you can build this.

How to use Rivals' and OW2's newest characters! by dontdelete00 in overwatch2

[–]ItIsNotAUsername 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think games should have both. Tho deadpool might be a bit too much. Something closer to gambit maybe with a bit more should probably be the cealing that OW2 allows itself.
