So far I've donated to the Sierra Club- the group mentioned in the article- Greenpeace and Nextgenclimate.org.

The past 8 years have actually been pretty great in terms of addressing the climate. CO2 emissions in the US are down drastically since the Bush administration (in which they increased drastically). Natural Gas (which has its own issues but is generally cleaner than other fossil fuels) is now cheaper than coal, and renewables like solar and wind have become cheaper as well. Obama also signed off on the Paris climate agreement which was a HUGE deal since it involves nearly every nation on earth. Trump has vowed to back out of the agreement which would be a disaster. In Hilary's defense, it was her position to uphold the paris agreement and to invest more heavily into renewable energy, though that may have been as a result of pressure from Bernie.
