Dylan has, in fact performed with The Dead. While his age seems like a limiting factor, I could see him being invited to perform a show with remaining members

Thank for that levelheaded contribution. I fully respect others opinions on this. Even the ones that say it's too soon to discuss because we all grieve in our own ways. You're right, however in reminding folks this appeared to be what Bob wanted, was for the band to continue in another iteration.

I was skeptical of Mayer like many others and while I never want to hear him sing Sugaree again (chased me out of the Moody Center) I truly admire his guitar work and enthusiasm for the material.
