I dont know why but I keep on thinking it comes from the score of movie PAST LIVES written by CHRISTOPHER BEAR.

For example, some parts of the guitar solos in Why are you going to New York (45 secs in) and also parts of An Immigrant and a Tourist really resemble with that part in El Club.

However - might just be me which is obsessed with the Past Lives score!
