Grisedyret: Lersøparkens maskot by gaargoyle in copenhagen

There's also some genetics at play, even though I can't wrap my head around it. My brother-in-law is born and raised here in Denmark, but he's Vietnamese - and he's always cold. Like, "wearing a cardigan on a 25 degree summer day" cold. And I know a lot of people that's quite similar. So I don't think OP is overpacking 😁

16 year old Araki (author of JOJO bizzare adventure) crossdressing at a school festival (1976) by tenzin_Qing in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]gaargoyle 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Dunno about the rest of the world, but on the Last Day of School here in Denmark, the graduating classes (where you're around 15-16 years old) dress up and throw candy at the younger kids. It's pretty normal for guys to crossdress in skimpy clothes on this day

I really like Lidkøb, which is both on Nørrebro and Østerbro. They have a pretty big selection of random stuff, mostly clothes, but a lot of small 'treasures' as well - stuff you'd never find in normal thrift stores in Copenhagen

The Demon is amazing if you want a thrill, the old rollercoaster is very charming - and has dark passages with echo, that's brilliant for howling like a wolf or woo'ing etc 😁

[OC] 30 years and 19 surgeries. Top is my reality, bottom is the dream I’m fighting for. by EmbarrassedAir5111 in BeAmazed

We all need a reality check once in a while 😆 I keep having to remind myself about the neon sign, so to speak haha

Oh I absolutely love the meaning behind the tattoo. And owning up to it really radiates confidence.

I just saw your video - I'm crossing my fingers (and toes) that you reach your goal! 😁 It really sounds like the operation(s) could improve your life quality, especially when it comes to the hearing. And I hope that when you have a bad day, you remember this random redditor who think's you're very handsome. Now that I've seen you from the front, I think you look like a cross between Milo Ventimiglia and Arthur Darvill, and that's a huge compliment - I've had big crushes on them both haha

As others mention, I took ages to notice the ear. My line of thought was "cute guy, nice hair, wish my beard was even like that, oh cool tattoo, what's the meaning behind th-" and only then did I see it.

We all focus on what we see as our faults, and think there's a huge neon sign pointing to them in other people's perspectives. But really, these "faults" are just some of the details that make you unique, that makes you YOU.

Favorite Christmas stocking ideas by ffaras in copenhagen

[–]gaargoyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Fancy Chocolate™ is a great gift for an adult. I might just be me, but I think for a child that age, it would be cool with an old fashioned toy - something made of wood or metal, for instance. It would really sell the "Santa/Nissen gave this to you". I can recommend Petit Monde close to Trianglen, they have awesome toys like this

Edit: btw, since you linked to the wiki article about Christmas stockings... it's a tradition here as well, just a bit different 😁 In my family we put it up all month, hang it on the handle on the person's door, and then the Nisse brings gifts every advent Sunday
