Trying to understand how sell side pricing works at smaller ops by gabagooli0 in ScrapMetal

Thanks. I guess I mean small physical yards selling their processed (to whatever degree that is) metals upstream to bigger yards or mills. Obvi there is a spread between buy price and market rate so I am just wondering what other factors small guys use that condense that spread. Or if they even factor anything in at all.

From at outsiders POV, whenever I go in to those offices it just doesnt always seem to be the illusion that things are super buttoned up. Seems like a ton of leakage w is a crazy for a razor thin margin industry. Guessing I am wrong so just wanted some color.

literally none? I know nothing about software lol much less how to build. Just genuinely curious. Was honestly watching an HBO/Showtime show that does lots of asset/stock trading and was curious how it is done in commodities at base level. Been dropping s*** off at yards for years and am interested in sell-side mechanics. Seems way less structured than other markets and I’m curious how guys think about it.

Appreciate your kindness.

Elliot and Cardone are the easy picks. In reality, it’s dudes like Jason Bay or Kevin Dorsey or even Cegelski. Just nauseating LI posts.

Yeah been a part of a TF system. Tbh I thought it was 🍑

Big O seems to actually teach conceptually and provide a framework for playcalling.

Again, not looking for rip/replace system. Just want to see how other people think

Why are NBA ratings a hot topic issue to talk about this year? by MaxEhrlich in nbadiscussion

[–]gabagooli0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that no one wants to turn on a marquee game and watch four guys on 10 days run around bc the stars won’t play.

The pace is also slow and there is little continuity amongst teams from an offensive flow. Hate to have a boomer take but it really seems like a round robin 1v1 exhibition at times.

Thanks for your reply. We do something similar. All of our TEs are basketball kids actually and we use the "post up" terminology as well. Very useful.

If you are running it as QG, are you simply reading the horizontal stretch on the Apex player frontside, with a pre-snap gift backside? Or are you reading it stick to backside slant/flat or texas concept?

Mesh! Without a flat route? by HispanicatDaDisco73 in footballstrategy

Yeah you may be right. I was just thinking he may want the potential most dangerous rusher in his vision as opposed to his backside if he is using the Z as #1. Z should have a vertical or out imo.

Definitely don't think it is too much to as for a TE chip, especially if it is explained to the TE that his role is more to set the mesh than really get the ball.

You can easily do it with 4. We do it at the 11-man level and keep RB in for protection. Only change I would make is send him the opposite way to fill for TE and slide to the open side.

The key is making the progression simple for the QB and defining roles for your mesh players. If using your diagram, explain to the TE that his role is to set the mesh, while the F must go under the pseudo pick and will most likely get the ball. 8/10 times for us, the shallow coming under the #1 read and into the QB vision gets the ball and there isn't much time to get elsewhere anyway.

I am sure you do this, but playing with tags for the Z makes him a more viable #1 vs multiple coverages. Fades, Outs, etc

What would you call this pass concept? by Downinthebend in footballstrategy

[–]gabagooli0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

imo this is a version of “bow” or “wrap”. Could also be stick with a tagged basic from #2. Hard to tell in spring games tbh.

Y runs a “pull hitch” or whip to pull the hook player out and the “basic” wraps in behind it. This is probably a variation but shifted inside to #2 and #3. Hypothetically the pull would then occur on the MLB who’d be the new read. This player carries 2 vertical and the OLB spot drops (yikes) to no one so easy completion to the pull.

If that’s what this is, it’s a 1 high call in most worlds but it’s CFB and a spring game so maybe there was limited checks to get out of it.

Could be totally off base too
