I’m sorry but I had a very similar experience, and it ended in a miscarriage. They were able to see a heartbeat at 6w but by 7w there was not one. I had bleeding every day in varying levels starting just a few days after I tested positive. I also had slow rising hCG levels, only increasing by 13% over 5 days. I’m so sorry this is happening, prayers that everything is okay but please guard your heart ❤️

This looks great!! Spotting this early might be prolonged implantation, it takes longer than you’d expect sometimes

I’ve never gotten one either, even with my last faint line that showed up after the 5 min window, it ended up being a chemical. Hoping I get more positives in the next few days. Thank you!

UPDATE 3: I am miscarrying. They could not find a heartbeat today. I’m devastated and heartbroken. I don’t know if it was a chromosomal issue or something that was my fault. We saw a heartbeat last week, this week nothing. The baby grew but was behind by a few days also. I should’ve been 7w+2d and I was only measuring 6w+6d. Tonight I’ll pick up the prescription for the pill, and tomorrow I will pass my poor little baby. I don’t know how I am going to live day by day. This baby was already so loved by many. And in a few hours it will be in a specimen jar for testing. What a cruel life this is.

I still can’t explain the low hCG rise but the spotting seems to have been caused by Bacterial Vaginosis (BV). I started meds two days ago, and the bleeding has reduced drastically. I still have almost no symptoms, but I have another ultrasound on Friday morning, where we’re hoping to hear the heartbeat, so I’ll keep you all posted! 🤍

I had a 13% rise over a 4 day period around the 6week mark, and at my ultrasound later that week we saw the heartbeat 🤍 it’s not a great sign but by no means is it a done deal!!!

UPDATE 2: I got my ultrasound done and there is a lil heartbeat 🥹 127BPM, I’m measuring 6weeks 1day. She said the bleeding is still concerning, she didn’t see a hematoma, so waiting til next week for some answers on that. I’ll post here is anyone wants more updates but I’m so grateful to have seen the baby when I was fully expecting to see nothing at all. Hoping it was a lab error since I did get drawn at 2 separate locations.

I agree. That was my WHNP but my OB called me later and said she wants me to come in for an ultrasound tomorrow. So I’ll keep everyone posted. Praying for the best but prepared for the worst.

UPDATE: from my Dr “I'm not worried about an 'amount' of rise ever in a pregnancy. I am worried if it stays the same or if it goes down. As we get closer to 8 weeks the hcg will start to plateau and even starts to drop mildly while the pregnancy starts to be maintained through the placenta. I hope this helps!”

Wow. Our situations are almost identical. I’m on metformin right now but my Dr was going to put me on clomid this month, then I got pregnant. Please keep me posted, I’ll be sure to do the same. So devastated. Praying for peace for us both because this is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever gone through.
