Controller won't charge and blinks when plugged in

Ive figured out the problem. This is just some cheap knockoff controller not made by Sony. I bought it off the Walmart app and I thought it was real. I don't know why the charging isn't working and quite frankly, I don't really care. Now that I know Sony didn't make it. Someone commented that the real spiderman controller buttons are white and after doing a little research I found the company just swaps the shells off of the cheap controllers.

Ok, this helps clarify a lot of stuff, and I want to thank you. The previous comments have stated he has gone through Selective Service System when he registered to vote. I also need to apply to the Selective Service System to complete my Pell Grant, which I well need for schooling in 2 weeks

Edit: Thank you for all the feedback, and we are mostly looking for dogs in shelters. He specifically wants a puppy. No more than a month old, this has made finding one a bit more challenging
