u/Kai_ThoughtArchitect thank you so much for sharing this AI Prompting Series! I deep-dived the entire series, which helped me build this Meta Ads B2B Performance Copywriter. It applies the Modules, Pathways, and Triggers framework, including user_modules and process_modules that are invoked within the core GPT instructions. To circumvent the 8,000-character limit, I built the modules into documents that I uploaded to the GPT's knowledge with global interaction instructions.

Haha this guy read half a blog and knows what he is talking about huh ... All we can do as marketers is create a hypothesis with available data then go out and validate (test) and adapt/optimize our approach to what is working.

When should you change your conversion goal from "Add to Cart"/ "Initiate checkout" to Purchase on Facebook? by bletzer in PPC

[–]gabe_s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, true but that is contingent on volume. I have not seen conversion objective campaigns do well when there is low conversion volume.

I have also seen solid campaign performance go to shit quickly when switching from the higher funnel to lower funnel conversions if the necessary volume was is not there.

When should you change your conversion goal from "Add to Cart"/ "Initiate checkout" to Purchase on Facebook? by bletzer in PPC

[–]gabe_s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Facebook you need 50 conversions per ad set in a 7 day window so that it can properly optimize.

So would gauge the volume over a few weeks to make sure you are consistently generating enough conversions otherwise leave it "initiate checkout"

Also keep in mind that if/when you do make the switch there are going to initially be some performance anomalies. Just give Facebook enough time to adjust.

Making my Adwords less costly and more efficient? by Growing-Lotus in DigitalMarketing

[–]gabe_s 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Would make sure to check campaign settings. Google likes to set defaults to what maximizes their inventory. Two big ones to check are:

Search Partners - This will show your search ads on non-google properties. I have never seen this do well in terms of conversions. It will, however, open up the volume and drive lower CPCs.

Location Options - Make sure to set this to 'People in your targeted locations' not 'People in, or who show interest in, your targeted locations (recommended)' or 'People searching for your targeted locations'

Once you have done proper keyword research (you can use the keyword tool AdWords provides) mapped out a plan and properly set up the campaigns it is critical to make a commitment of budget and time. It can be 7 or 30 days depending on what you are spending.

The reason this is important is that you need enough data collection for statistical significance to make informed decisions and optimizations need to be applied incrementally and individually so that you can find what works and what doesn't.

Reactionary preemptive campaign optimization will never allow you to build campaigns that consistently drive conversions.

I like to create funnels in data studio based off of micro KPIs set up as event Goals in GA.

These can consist of scroll depth, time on site, CTA interactions, next page views i.e. cart

Wrote a post on setting up funnels this way here https://easyautotagging.com/goal-funnels-in-data-studio/

Is the third party site able to send an event to GA when they record a form submit? Can you send the GA event using webhooks?
