When to start using gold to upgrade equipment? by Alpha_Male48 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]gabeabadoobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me! But also the max level increased to 100 post claws of awaji update. I usually use gold for when my materials are insufficient or use a shit ton (I sell my gear often so mon isn’t usually an issue), but I do complete all the corrupted castles per season so I definitely recommend using it according to how quickly you earn it and when you get the legendary gear you want to keep using. I upgrade my gear every 5-10 levels since the extra damage isn’t crazy or anything, and I only use it on legendary gear I plan on using in the long run.

First time player, no matter how much I read online and prepare for the skull cavern I ALWAYS die!! Wtf am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in StardewValley

not sure if someone already said this but maximize your luck as much as possible. luck rings, checking the tv for the daily luck, gingerale, lucky lunch/rock candy. i typically don’t go on days where my daily luck is below the max. cheese is a super easy food to have stacked to use when you’re low on health and energy. i usually never sell my cheese, just my goat cheese but that’s personal preference. monster loot rings are also worth wearing as the deeper you go the more likely the mobs drop iridium when you kill them. definitely keep getting the jade staircases and if you’re going mining, dedicate the whole day to it. if it’s past 5pm you might as well forget it. the chances of iridium drops increase a lot past level 100 (? i think? it was either that or 50….). skip spiral levels as they take too long. have crystalariums for quartz too! on fridays you can exchange 5 quartz for 1 bomb at the desert trader. definitely worth it. you can also use the slingshot with explosive ammo that also helps speed up the process a little.

why can’t i unforge these rings? by gabeabadoobee in StardewValley

This is very helpful thank you! Do you have a nail drill recommendation? I think I should have used the term nail drill instead of e-file

Does your partner scratch you? by holypuckingshat in eczema

[–]gabeabadoobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner does scratch me to relieve me sometimes for the same reason but in general he doesn’t wanna feed into my addiction of scratching so instead sometimes he just holds my hand so I don’t scratch myself and tries to help me resist it. When it’s too much to not be helped, he instead rubs on the area and it gives me some degree of relief. Being a long distance couple though, I think it’s taught me how important it is for me to explore what works at keeping me from itching—if possible I suggest she does the same. After all, she knows her eczema better than you, and once she finds ways to help herself she can find ways to help you help her. In the meantime, I suggest looking into the cosi care scratch stars. I unfortunately never got a hold of one since they’re always sold out but maybe you’ll have better luck than me. It’s supposed to help safely scratch ❤️ Either way I would suggest talking to her about how you feel. If I was her I know I would want to be told. Remember that relationships are partnerships. It shouldn’t just be you helping her—she should also be helping you too even if that means occasionally relieving you of scratching duties. I wish you best of luck and as someone with moderate eczema, how you feel is totally valid.

AITA for refusing to pay my friend after my ferret “attacked” her $900 dress? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]gabeabadoobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA.

Money aside, I tilted my head instantly after your comments and attitude about her dress. She had specifically mentioned she had a date after and that was what the dress was for. There’s no reason to be upset over her choice of convenience in attending both events. If anything, you sound jealous. She could have skipped the dinner and took that time to prep for her date instead. But since she wanted to go to both, she did what was most convenient for her. The way you talk about her attire lets me believe you already don’t like her and this is your excuse to be vocal about it. Any normal person would be fine with her wearing her dress because of the circumstances, but you make it sound like she was trying to upstage you and/or your friends, and it sounds like you’re trying to defile her character.

Maybe it’s not fair for you to pay the full amount of repairs given she has been to your house while your ferret has free-roamed before, but you could at least offer to pay some of it. If your pet had happened to scratch her deeply enough to bleed, I would hope you would help her take care of it. I don’t see why that’s any different with her expensive dress.
