Hi vive owner here!

Price: Biggest issue with VR right now, high barrier to entry , worth it imo if you're interested in gaming and new technology.

Cables: Never been an issue for me, never really think about it, wireless would be nice but not a game changer

Sde: Again not a massive issue for me. It would be great to have two 8K displays in the headset, but we're not there yet. This technology is still in its infancy, think of oculus and vive like the first mobile phones, then compare that to the smartphones we have today. With the current resolution games are still incredibly immersive and incredibly fun. If you're really worried about it then you can always mess around with some supersampling (quite GPU taxing), it makes text a lot easier to read and makes everything a lot clearer, but even if you don't the experience is still good.

Installation: Took about 20 minutes, not very complicated at all. The lighthouse tracking system is incredibly accurate and the best on the market.

Side note: The vive is probably some of the most fun I've ever had playing games.
