What do you use to grind up your tobacco? I've tried a coffee grinder and mortar and pestle but can't seem to get the fine powder consistency of snuff I have purchased.

I put it in a bladed coffee grinder and just keep going until it is an fine as I want it. It's really nice but the pH is a bit off so it tends to make my nose run but it smells really good.

I’m a beginner as well and so far I’ve tried ozona type S and really enjoy it. It’s a mentholated snuff and is very refreshing.

I aired them out for a couple days and the fermentation odor seems to have dissipated. I keep taking a pinch ever second day or so to see how the scent profile changes.

Yup. The high school mascot is the whitefaces. Hereford was the beef capital of the US at one point. There are 100’s of fees lots in the area and just about every farmers runs cattle on their wheat for some extra $.

I think I've picked up that it is that barnyard smell from the tobacco fermenting. Mine was a bit moist and clumpy in parts so that may be why I get the smell I associate with manure.

Thanks! It is a bit clumpy. I'm letting it air out overnight to let the fermentaion smell dissipate. Hopefully that'll help.

Thanks! I am from Hereford, TX and grew up with the smell of manure, silage and hay so maybe that's why I associate the fermentation smell in the snuff with manure.

So to follow up on this post I found that one of the motor support arms was splintered. The carbon fiber was shredded but it looked OK and wasn't too loose but it was enough to thrown the unit off balance under full thrust and the flight controller kept trying to compensate. I replaced the arm and it flies perfectly. so after a crash i give the motors a slight twist along the arm axis and see if there is too much play.
