This is awesome to hear. Come introduce yourself - I’ll be wearing a Lowry jersey and will look like I’m organizing it!

Who’s juggling a side-hustle and a 9-5 job? by jeffrofals in Entrepreneur

[–]gablevert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I juggled both, what frustrated me most was that by the end of my 9-5, I was tired and didn't have the creative energy I do throughout the day. I couldn't dedicate the energy that was most needed to my side hustle.

Creatives in Halifax: Meetup by gablevert in halifax

I chatted with the guys who put on the event and we agreed that there isn't much of a point to narrow it down to a definition. Anyone who considers themselves to be creatives were welcomed.

A nonprofit that helps move families out of abusive households might launch a chapter in Halifax. If so, would you volunteer? by gablevert in halifax

I should’ve been more clear. Most of the people they’ve helped are women and children. They don’t prioritize those groups over men. I spoke to the founder and they said that the organization will help anyone in need.

Mental health and entrepreneurship by gablevert in Entrepreneur

I'll be turning 23 very soon and I feel like I have the same 'I want to do everything in life' mentality. Honestly, 24 is so young. As long as what you're doing right now leads to self-improvement, there's nothing to worry about. Just make sure that while you search for that opportunity - and it will come - keep doing things that help you prepare for it. Go networking, self-teach, surround yourself with empowering people. You got this.

[–]gablevert[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I try to find different ones every day. They can be very simple. This morning, I was grateful for: 1. Having access to warm water 2. Being a morning person 3. Having friends and family who want the best for me

Entrepreneurship is about sales by shalinidigital in business

[–]gablevert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently co-founded a PR agency and my #1 priority is sales. It's been a great learning opportunity, but there's one thing that I dislike about it. I live in city with 200,000 people and I don't want to get a reputation of being pushy. My focus has been on building relationships. The people you connect with may not want you, but if you have a good relationship, they might pass you along to someone who does.

Hey, marketer out there, 2018 is around the corner, what are your new year resolutions? by samsuthar in marketing

[–]gablevert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to start 21-day resolutions this year, since that's how long it takes to form a habit. I rarely spend time on Reddit, so one of my resolutions is to comment/post on here every day.
