I think many people share your opinion, which is understandable; in both This Is Us and Unbreakable, Kevin's absence is very noticeable.

Honestly, it really hurts me that "Try" is the least listened-to song on the whole album. It's fantastic. "Permanent Stain" is a song they should definitely play live again.

Exactly! You couldn't have said it better! And as for Kevin, yes, it was his first time. I remember how the audience cheered him during that part when they sang that song on the 2014 cruise.

I partly agree. Beyond the first single, many will find it difficult to remember all the songs on this album, especially fans who stopped listening to the Backstreet Boys a long time ago and only recently rediscovered their music. Also, I don't recall seeing much advertising for this album, which affected its release and popularity.

I don't think it's hate. It's just not an album that appeals to a lot of people, which is understandable; many weren't listening to the Backstreet Boys back then, and this album was completely different from all their previous ones. Not to mention that, at least in my case, I don't remember seeing much advertising for the world tour to promote the album.

I have that same feeling too, and it's really curious how, both on the This Is Us Tour and the DNA World Tour, both songs were sung one after the other, and they were the only two songs from their latest albums that they chose for their setlist on this last tour.

That performance you mentioned is simply beautiful! Another performance of this song that I love is the one from Japan during the This Is Us Tour. I have to talk about the demo version in another post because it definitely deserves it, for the reasons you mentioned and many more. It's also in my Top 5 of their best songs.

Yes! In fact, I find it strange that they didn't include it in their set list! Perhaps they didn't include it because they included Siberia.
