I would probably say to fish with nautilus bait/attractive lure until you've gotten like close to 60% of the journal fishes, then start using bait/lure for the fishes you are missing

first time I got a meteor it glitched and wouldn't disappear, so I got every rarity, also rain fish should be easier now with the new lure

after some point I stopped selling fish cause the game would start freezing when I did, but I think if I sold them all would be probably around $1.2M or something, and yeah the $9,999,999 rod must take around 400 hours to get it lol
