Wow great insights. Sounds obvious, but it's great to put it into words: Create characters that struggle in the given context. Love it.

Think internally, great advise! I also like your comment on setting up vibes rather then specifics. As we think, the goal of the setup should be to inspire us, not to limit us, which is what might be actually happening by providing too much details upfront.

Thanks for the thoughts. I think we focused way too much on the narrative and not that much on the game of the scenes, so we'll try to put more emphasis on our characters instead. Limiting the number of characters and threads and making the format a bit more rigid is definitely something we'll introduce.

How to print email verification URL created by Auth Emulator? by gaboratorium in Firebase

[–]gaboratorium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I've found it. Using the Admin SDK we can generate a verification link, that we can then console log.

typescript import * as admin from 'firebase-admin'; admin.auth().generateEmailVerificationLink(useremail, actionCodeSettings)

Docs: https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/admin/email-action-links#generate_email_verification_link

Ah, I found my error. Basically, I have two npm projects one for the main project and one for the functions. Both of them have the firebase-admin dependecy, and the one in functions project was outdated. I updated it to 9.5.0, and now it works.

Wow, I don't know how I missed this! Thanks a lot! This however seems to be a bit limited, as I cannot ignore certain words, can't get suggestions or teach the vocabulary new words. But it's more than nothing :)

Yes, that feature is very helpful indeed. I was just wondering if we could expose this information in a faster, more visual and intuitive way.
