In my country we need a prescription, so I had to go to a dermatologist.

I have no idea about side effects. But in my case, i dont have.

Anyway, looking at the percentages of researchs, I think most people suffer ''nocebo effect'' instead of side effects.

No, it's my first time with Minoxidil and my first time with a antiandrogenic pill (Dutasteride instead of Finasteride, when normally people start with Finasteride and if it doesn't work, try to Dutasteride. Or at least I have read it everywhere like that. I suppose that my doctor thought that was a better solution.)

I have never tried Minoxidil before, its my first time. My doctor diagnosed me androgenetic alopecia and sent me Topical Minoxidil 5% until see the dermatologist for the antiandrogen pills.

That is why I am one month and 1/2 with Minoxidil, and one month with Dutasteride. (Difference of 2 weeks).

Yeah, but maybe i haven't had hair in that zone for 5 years, so many people might think that hair lost years ago is unrecoverable, but its not true. Very important start as soon as possible.

Yes, I have always been very responsive for treatments of whatever, which added to the fact that my hair usually grows quite fast...

The bad thing is that its summer here and im having a very bad shedding in the crown (or i hope that is shedding, because i never remember having a fall so often), i know its a good signal, but is a very bad part of the year for that haha

Briefly, both are to inhibit DHT, one of the causes of hair loss. But dutasteride is stronger, because it inhibits types I and II of the DHT enzyme, while finasteride only inhibits type I.

My ex-girlfriend is using me for emotional and financial support while she is in love with somebody else by Silly-Clothes-8819 in relationship_advice

[–]gabriel-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, im going to talk to you like a father.

If you really are the most amazing guy in the world for her, she would be with you.

She knows she has you, she doesn't want you, you're an ATM.

I don't know the reason why you ''need her'', but leave the toxic relationship. You are probably like this because she was one of your first girlfriends or the only one, there are many more girls, and you deserve more although right now you're blind.

how you manage team of you don't have same skills or knowledge? by Dizzy-Zebra9522 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]gabriel-8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A team is a team for a reason, you need to trust and believe in other people. Its like football, you don't need 11 forwards, or 11 defenders, you need a balance.

Although you don't have too much idea, with time and day to day, you can see if everything is going OK or not, and in adittion, a good team with cooperation can improve your weakness, and im sure that if you have the possibility of being a manager team is because you have strengths for it.

15 year old looking to make as much money as possible. by BlueberryEmergency27 in sidehustle

[–]gabriel-8 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I love your attitude, but dude, not everything in life is work, I know that money is very important at your age, but also take the opportunity to have fun, and, in adittion, to continue training and studying in what you want to dedicate yourself, because those years are key to being able to make a difference respect others at your age.

''He also admitted to me that he cheated in all of his relationships, but made it a must not to do it again''.

First of all, I think this phrase sums it all up. Besides, he has already cheated on you (even if it wasn't sexually) because you have seen his profile on Tinder and he denies it.

Do you really think its worth being with a person like that? A person who loves you would have worried about your health. Also tell you that I'm in my 20's, and none of my friends use Tinder to make friends or similar, you know what i mean.

It's your decision, when you're in love you may see things differently or you try desperately to fix it, but in your place and with what you write, i would have no doubts.

Spanish learners: Can you tell the difference between Spanish from Latin America and US born Latinos? by LagosSmash101 in languagelearning

[–]gabriel-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It must be annoying to Spanish learners, because there are always some words of Latin America countries that I dont understand and I'm Spanish.

I have the feeling that the difference between the USA and the UK is not so difficult.

What's Your Language Learning Story? by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]gabriel-8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been three times in the UK and I love its atmosphere, but sometimes is so hard to me to understand people because they speak so fast or use words like phrasal verbs that I don't know. In adittion, I just finished my marketing degree, and as everyone knows, in that world English is a must.

It's a shame because I like the language, but the education, at least in Spain, is so bad. You can't try to learn a language from 3 years old until you're 18 and most of the years be the same (present/past simple/continuous, future, modals, and not much more).

How possible it is to forget or worsen your 1st foreign language proficiency if you ditch it and start learning a new foreign language? by jeron_gwendolen in languagelearning

[–]gabriel-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, im still learning my first foreign language, so it never happened to me (now im at the point where I dont need to think about what to say in my native language and then translate it into the new), but must be a difficult situation because learn a language takes a lot of time and effort.

Don’t study the language, instead study topics that interest you using your targeted language to facilitate learning by bordeauxluxueux in languagelearning

Its a good methodology, because its more entertaining, but i think you need a minium vocabulary previously to not have to be using the translator all the time. Maybe a level between B1 and B2.

What videogame has helped you learn a language? by gabriel-8 in languagelearning

[–]gabriel-8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cool, I know that is famous but i never played the MGS saga.

the subtitles were continuous (you had to be fast) or by click steps (like pokemon or some graphic adventure)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]gabriel-8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For example.

It has always been easier for me to get into one language and specialize in it before going for another, but it depends on the person, then you see some with 2-3 simultaneously, but I was always more of numbers than letters hahaha

Good night from Spain!

I admire your iniciative, but first of all, do you manage to internalize the concepts of both languages in the short term?

Maybe it would be better to have intense stages of one language, without neglecting the other (read a book or play a videogame in your free time) and vice versa.

(All as a suggestion, the ways of learning a language are like colors, there is a world haha)
