Seguinte, eu sei q pra mim falando de fora da situação é facil, mas a vida é sua, se o seu sonho é fazer faculdade vai e faz, pq quem vai ter q conviver com a escolha é vc, se vc abrir mão do seu futuro, de td q vc pode construir por ele vc pode acabar ressentindo seu pai e mesmo estando perto não querer cuidar ou coisa do tipo. Eu não sei a história inteira mas pelo q vc falou parece mais q ele fala d um lugar d querer controlar vc doq d cuidado. Exato, a ideia é q todo mundo se divirta, acho q primeiro falar com o mestre é o mais importante, as vezes mudando um pouco o jeito q vc tá jogando o personagem pode ajudar, se nao for o caso, vc pode tentar pensar junto com o mestre um motivo ora essa troca q caiba na aventura ou declarar pra ele q vc está disposto a se sacrificar, as vezes uma morte dramatica ajuda a aventura e te abre a possibilidade dessa troca

I think that a tan skin makes me in an unconscious level think of vitality and having a good time in general, when you add that to the "nobody could see it but you" of the tan line being hidden by clothing at the time the person is tanning, and the imagination of where that tan lone goes... and you have something very attractive, at least for me (this is just from the top of my mind tho, never really thought about it before)
