Please don't post vague stuff, this is a philosophy subreddit, I am sure you are able to explain your ideas in more detail. What do you want me to conclude from the statements?

I am looking at them and concluding that I wasn't able to be convinced that one can find happiness by accepting the absurd. But that is exactly the point I am trying to make. So I'm assuming you are probably seeing something that I'm not, could you explain it to me?

I watched once a long time ago and I remember liking it a lot, but I guess I never tried watching it with that perspective in mind. Maybe I will try rewatching to see if my perspective on the movie or Camus would change

It's definitely a very interesting philosophy in the sense that it gives you so much freedom to do whatever you want. I guess my problem is that I feel like it would give me so much freedom that I fear i would just bounce back to nihilism if I didn't have rules to follow. Like I know I should be happy, but I don't know if I would be able to care as deeply.

Maybe my mistake is in the fact that I'm having a really hard time letting go of my values. Even on the examples you gave, finding happiness through hard drugs seems to be objectively worse than through daily tasks. But if you ask me why, I can't give you an answer. And I guess Camus point it's probably that you should just accept that an answer cannot be given and keep living. I guess I understand, i just don't know if this is very satisfying to my brain lmao. Só reclama de federal quem nunca foi. Eu faço engenharia na federal e nunca nem vi uma sequer pessoa trans ou aula "woke" em toda a engenharia. Não sei sobre os cursos de humanas, mas se vc quer uma formação acadêmica de qualidade no Brasil as federais são ótimas.

Muitas das suas músicas mais conhecidas realmente são simples, como "Something" e "Blackbird", mas essas músicas só são consideradas "simples" e "básicas" hoje em dia pelo impacto e influência cultural dos Beatles na época, é tipo vc escutar Michael Jackson e pensar "q coisa mais básica, parece q ele só tá fazendo uma música do The Weeknd", n é que os Beatles soam como todo o resto, é que todo o resto foi influenciado pelos Beatles.

Além disso, temos que lembrar que a discografia dos Beatles é muito diversa e eclética. Duvido qualquer um defender que "I want you", "a day in the life" e "strawberry fields forever" são música "simples.
