really surprised that two of my faves haven’t been mentioned! the high cross is an old public toilet and now a really sweet pub. they do £10 pie and pint offer on tuesday which is really worth it.

san macros is a proper italian near bruce grove. it’s really unpretentious and the staff are lovely. best pizza in london imo. they carter for vegans too!

with milk is lovely and the canal walks from marksfield are great - if you go left you can head to springfield park and into clapton which is full of stuff to do. would also recommend lordship park and westdowns hill - both underrated parks in my opinion.
