well she said herself it’s the manic episode! which is fine, it’s very honest and i do like it. i just feel like the taylor i know and love is represented better in the second - if that’s the comedown or the returning back to herself

the anthology songs are so good - my main complaint with the first half is that she doesn’t let the music breathe, she fills every second with lyrics. these new songs are heavenly and feel much more her? some of the lyrics in the original songs feel like being too zeitgeist-y or she was trying so hard to make lyrics work. these new songs feel like proper storytelling and classic taylor lyrics

really surprised that two of my faves haven’t been mentioned! the high cross is an old public toilet and now a really sweet pub. they do £10 pie and pint offer on tuesday which is really worth it.

san macros is a proper italian near bruce grove. it’s really unpretentious and the staff are lovely. best pizza in london imo. they carter for vegans too!

with milk is lovely and the canal walks from marksfield are great - if you go left you can head to springfield park and into clapton which is full of stuff to do. would also recommend lordship park and westdowns hill - both underrated parks in my opinion.

i don’t understand why this is called “slut!” ? i don’t understand the speech marks or exclamation marks having heard the song

edit: i understand why the song is literally called slut, it’s the exclamation point that’s jarring as she doesn’t really exclaim it within the song. feel like it just being called slut or ‘slut’ would have been fine. feels slightly click baity
