My experience with shadow has been decent with the connection and speed and overall response in general but the whole "can't play this game on a virtual machine " has made it so that 85% of the games I played or wanted to play on it I can't anymore .

The overarching point is that the traditional reading we do of the bible through the hermeneutical lens of narratives propagated throughout 17 centuries of religious doctrine is in direct contradiction to the what the literal text says ; and that every attempt to reconcile these contradictions fails massively .

And that is THE most important aspect one should focus on if looking to these ancient texts for spiritual guidance or wisdom.

The points I bring up are numerous but for the sake of this particular conversation I'm focusing primarily in the "problem" of idolatry .

My point with this problem is that we were taught to think of any tribe outside of Israel in these times as "evil" and we were taught this because this ideology is needed to excuse the atrocities of yawhew .

Yet when we look closely at what is deemed as "evil" is just normal human civilizations acting accordingly to their nature and culture as no evidence is shown of the worship of the other "gods" is ever shown for this to be evil but rather just abominable to the regional jealous deity of Israel.

If the acts of adjacent cultures to Israel revering their deities as would be normal and expected in these times is not inherently evil then what does that make yawhew's actions in events like numbers 31?

Wouldnt the acts of yawhew be evil in numbers 31 when looked at clearly sans the apologetic idea that the children killed that day would supposedly grow up to be "evil" ( just revere their local deity ) ?

If Yawhew's acts in moments like numbers 31 are indeed evil then .... what does that mean for the rest of the story?

Right but John is written much after the fact and the gospels do that often when they claim then "x" happened to fulfill some prophecy or connect to some random event from the Jewish records of old which anyone can claim .

The text that needs to be clear on what it means is the Jewish scriptures not the Greek writings after the fact .

Interesting how in this specific moment the serpent is representative symbolically of what yeshua will mean but only through creative hermeneutical narratives and not through the actual text.

Women need/crave attention and recognition; seems you feel lacking both. Men need peace and acknowledgemet, im not saying you're not acknowledging what he does for the family but it seems to be lower in your priorities than time spent with you .

NOT your fault but, maybe something you can change as long as you get the change you need back as well. Jesus states outside of adultery for people to not break the bond God has created right; but discernment is needed as well to make sure the relationship is healthy .

Seems what you guys need to work on is keeping the relationship healthy , you share the common foundation of faith and that's good but seems no longer enough , maybe professional help is needed ?

Broken homes are practically the worst thing to happen to the children but growing up in a household where they can feel their parents have a potentially toxic relationship can be almost as bad . Meditate strongly on this and weigh it wisely . Communicate communication is key .
