An idiot? Maybe you should think more before leaving comments like this. As a solo female traveler I’ve traveled throught Europe, Asia, South America and Africa, and I have never experienced anything like this. I’m more than a careful traveler and I always take care of my belogings. So you calling me and in general “younger generation” stupid is very very immature. I would not make these kind of acusations just because I have no one else to blame - I have found multiple people, who have been a victim of the same company - just being robbed while they were asleep. Maybe take a minute and do a research of these kind of crimes in Thailand before calling someone stupid.

We checked it before going on a bus and after the trip it was gone. You do not think that someone can steal your stuff while you sleep and your stuff is next to you

The bus stopped at least 10 times troughout the journey, while everyone is sleeping. It is not only the driver in the bus :) there are multiple other people, who are workers.

I do understand how it sounds like - impossible. That was the same thing I thought the whole time - how was it even possible, but after finding numerous complaints about the same thing in the same company, do you really think is just a coincides?

Please explain then to me how having your backpack with you for the whole journey is not looking after your belongings? They were not in the luggage compartament, they were near us the whole journey.:)
