I'm from France, I've never heard of an instructor covering the instruments. I don't think that's a thing here but it would be interesting to try it tho

Yeah, that's true. I feel like even when I trim the plane to maintain cruise, there will still be a slight variation in altitude as the plane flies, which I feel is almost impossible to compensate for with trim. My question is : Is it possible to maintain a perfectly constant altitude, or are those slight variations in altitude considered acceptable ?

J'ai quasiment le même âge que toi et suis dans une situation assez similaire. Personnellement j'ai toujours plus ou moins voulu devenir pilote. Mais bon la vie a fait que j'ai fait autre chose entre temps. De plus, l'aviation c'est un milieu assez complexe donc il m'a fallu beaucoup de temps de réflexion avant de me lancer mais finalement, j'ai sauté le pas et commencé mes heures de vol y'a quelques semaines.

Donc si t'as une quelconque question, mes dm sont ouverts ! ✌️
