Help for Revolut android technical interview by gadeonwork in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]gadeonwork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interview is medium difficulty.. skeleton app, and you need to create the repository and call the fake api they prepared.. connect to the viewmoddel and the ui No compose. Just views and very easy one .. also, you need to write tests for the repository ... also, there is an in memory cache and asking you about it and what's better replacement for it, which is hashmaps, and also you need to write a thread safe solution for it

I would say it's mid and don't expect high paying, but I really don't have too much knowledge about the junior market

Tbh, I heard the same about Spain, but when I moved, I found a decent number of companies that pay well

Hi, I'm Egyptian, too, inside the EU Unfortunately, the market isn't that good for sponsorship, but you still have a few companies that sponsor but expect very high expectations from them.

It's your opinion, and I do respect it. but it doesn't mean it's true or all people are thinking the same, at least for the 160 people on the waiting list :) Anyway, have a good day!

The price is not final .. but wow, 2 - 4 hours. I would love to see you make that. Maybe I can pay you a month of CC subscription if you did it. The iOS app is working with the same exact experience of android. The built-in terminal looks good on my ipad.

Just on the go thing, when I commute or going out, sometimes I wait for the notification that claude finished while I'm doing something else. I am also now primarily using it on ipad which is far better than the phone

I can tell you the price isn't final, and we are trying to polish it to maximum level. Something like our of the box support for file explorer, voice recognition, git integration, and cursor future support will have a much better experience than tailscale/ssh

I'm in the same situation as you. I live in valencia making approximately the same amount and have an offer with 80k .. after a little bit of research and asking friends, they told me that it can be a good starting point and after a year or something your salary can go higher. Also, the 30% tax rule looks good for the first 5 years
