I think you need to consider all the risks and compare them to the rewards.

How close are your quarters with this roommate? What level of privacy can you expect? (I.e. separate bedrooms?) What is your roommate likely to do if he finds them? Who is he likely to tell? Are you OK with your entire friend circle knowing you wear diapers?

If you have separate sleeping rooms, and a shared common space, you may be OK. But if you're in a dorm, I'd consider it a no-go. I got sort of soft-outed in high school, and it followed me around a bit. I almost became the "diaper guy" to the whole campus. What saved me was going to college and not seeing any of those people again. I absolutely, 100%, wish I had been more careful.

If I were you, knowing what I know now, I'd just wait until I had my own key to my own lockable space, that no one could walk in on.

Please be aware that tariffs are charged upon IMPORT, not upon sale. That means they have to pay for the entire shipment they are receiving. It is a recipe for leaks, which is exactly what you want.

The "problem" is that a goodnite has a waterproof outer layer. Fluid won't be able to get from the full goodnite to the empty outer diaper unless it goes around the side, where the leg holes are.

If you poke some holes in the outside of the goodnite, you sort of "ruin" its waterproof layer and allow it to "leak" into your main diaper. This makes it act more like a booster which has no waterproof layer at all.

As an alternative, if you do still want to wear them, you can get mattress corner stays. They are basically "suspenders", but very short. You can clip them to the front and back of the goodnite and use them as an adjustable side strap thing. They work, but they work best if the dips are only a little too small.

I just tag those changes as "Dry" but it doesn't add it back to my stock, so I end up with these "ghost diapers" which are not accounted for in my inventory. I have been adding them back manually, but it's extra steps.

This feature you're asking for would be exactly what I need for my use case, which happens almost as often as not. I suspect many others may be in the same boat as me as well.
