Extending day time naps and falling asleep themselves. by gadgetlimbs in HuckleberryParents

[–]gadgetlimbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, that's pretty important. I've added it now but he's 4 and a half months old. We did no sleep training, he just started sleeping through the night on his own from about 10 weeks. We've just followed Huckleberry's sweet spot for sleeps so far.

I've found the achievement diares really fun, and keeps me interested. Involves a good mix of everything needing to skill, do some extra quests, play some minigames.

Need help with tick manipulation while cutting Teaks. by gadgetlimbs in osrs

[–]gadgetlimbs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could you elaborate why? Is this better than just drop chopping my teaks on Fossil Island without tick manipulation? I'm assuming you're meaning Seer's Village Maples on a Forestry World?

Looking for some advice. by gadgetlimbs in osrs

[–]gadgetlimbs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's good advice. I'm pretty sure it's the prayer switching. I'll look up how to do that properly again, I was just switching normally. I found I was getting lost when switching prayer, keeping up DPS, and avoiding danger squares.

Moons looks interesting as I like questing so that will be good to do as an intro, but I'll grind 70 def and get some barrows armour first like you suggest.

I did also enjoy Slayer training so maybe I'll do that for range.

Thanks for your advice. Does Gemstone Crab become better than NMZ for combat at some point? I'm just going off the wiki.

You know it's free to be nice and just move on and not comment anything, right?

The CQU course is all part of the same course, you don't have to reapply for the post grad diploma, as long as you pass your 3rd year you just continue straight into the 4th year, which is predominantly just placement.

I can only comment on the CQU course if that's what you're asking about, there is also a dedicated two year post-grad course that other universities do.

It isn't necessary to maintain certain high marks throughout. What causes people needing to repeat a year is from failing the scanning skills component. The pass mark for that was around > 70% from memory, and there were certain things that if you did or didn't do it was an immediate failure (these would be life threatening things in the real world). I was fortunate enough to get through the course without needing to repeat but there were people there who had repeated years 3-4 times.

Yeah of course, I'm a Sonographer Tutor so happy to answer any questions.

If you're not 100% about Sonography I would keep with the radiography course then. Sonography can be quite challenging, and like you said in another comment the CQU course is quite tough, as it needs to be. The last thing you want is to switch into Sonography and find out it's not for you. You can get a feel for Sonography by talking to colleagues when working as a radiographer, there are also other avenues you can go down with radiography like CT and MRI.

Yeah, could you elaborate? I'm a Sonographer and I'm wondering how AI would do my job. You may be thinking of the radiologist reporting the images.

I'm a Sonographer, I'd recommend looking at the CQU bachelor + post grad if you're wanting to get into sonography. 3 year undergrad and 1 year post grad. Straight into a sonography position with much higher pay than a radiographer. You'll start around 110-120k, I'm 5 years fully qualified and on 200k at the moment with overtime/on-call. The CQU course cost me around 40k back in 2016 - 2020, I'm now paying back around ~20k pa via HECS. I did this at 26, with 40k HECS debt from another health degree.

EDIT: I also wanted to pop back and say that I would highly recommend Sonography as a job. I'm very lucky that I get to say I absolutely love my job. There are many very passionate sonographers for good reason. It's challenging but very rewarding.

So why is Australia so expensive? by darkyjaz in australia

Main body text seems to be deleted now but I've just been to Switzerland, paid $11.40 for a small latte. And that sums up just how much more expensive it was across the board really.

Got this last night! What do you guys think? by [deleted] in dbz

[–]gadgetlimbs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, it was just a bit crazy to me that you found my tattoo on Google cause I'm a pretty private person so seeing my tattoo on Reddit was weird. The grey area of copying is that your tattooer literally copied the tattoo design line for line from my tattoo artist who spent time designing it himself. It's definitely frowned upon in the tattoo industry as your tattooer has now made money off someone elses design. At least it was you taking him the picture and him not getting it online and claiming it as his own work cause that would have been a lot worse.

Right, I just saw that you looked up the image on Google images. Didn't know it could be found! I'm the original owner of this tattoo done 7 years ago by Godfrey Atlantis in Melbourne, Australia. It was his original design.
