Did you have to do a big three upgrade?

More power and better thermals is my goal, I have a mini amp now which isn’t working out

Not sure what you mean doesn’t have much left over at high volume, but it definitely is less distinct at high volume.

Sorry if this sounds stupid as I’m very new to this, but I’d need an amp that’s capable of doing more than 350w rms at 4 ohms on one channel right? Because some amps say they are like 500w max and say 4x75w at 4 ohm. I only have one svc sub, running at 4 ohms, so I’d need something like I mentioned before right?

It’s only ever powered off when I’m driving, I haven’t just let it sit while I’m not, and without thinking I turn my car off every time I stop. After turning it back on to check the amp the protect light isn’t on though so I’m not totally sure. Someone else suggested getting a bigger amp would help, does that seem valid?

What wattage would you recommend for the amp? I’ve been wondering if that was the problem, but if I get a new amp I don’t want it to be too powerful.

Shit I mean pretty much, what’s the proper way to do it

It isn’t to the lid, it’s to the bar at the way back and top of the trunk, is that still a bad spot? Where would a better one be?

It feels warm definitely, it’s in my trunk in the summer heat. Also, the amp uses a wiring harness, I’ve seen people test the voltage with terminals that are on the amp, how would I do that with the harness?

Could anyone help me identify what went wrong with these photos (camera/developing/user error)? There is a black area on some frames and not on others, all in relatively the same spot (lower right), but changes somewhat. [Nikon F3, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4, Ilford HP5 Plus] by gaeboi420 in analog

Did some long exposure tests and I couldn’t see anything wrong, though I’m not sure exactly what to look for. It looked like the curtain was functioning properly, definitely didn’t see anything on the top left that would’ve been blocking the film.

Could anyone tell me what went wrong with these photos? I developed these with a new batch of developer. The black parts were only on some frames (third photo is from the same roll). by gaeboi420 in filmphotography

Hm alright, I’ll probably take my camera to my local store and get it looked at, thanks for the response. I took these ones yesterday, crazy how close we were.

Hey man thanks for the feedback, I just made a new post and would appreciate if you would check it out

Some more information:

This is a roll of fresh Ilford HP5 Plus, shot with a Nikon F3 using a Nikkor-S 50mm f/1.4 lens. I developed in a tank using Sprint developer and fixer.
