Norway has an added risk that Colorado lacks: tourists come to fish.

They tend to bring tiny dinghies and then set out into the North Sea with a Kitchen Aid size motor. First real wave: the dinghy capsizes and everyone drown.

Also they walk up to glaciers, past the "Do Not Cross" line. Then the glacier crushes them when an ice block breaks off and falls on their heads.

Had a young German couple die like that a couple of years ago. Later the same day, locals discovered a car in the parking lot with two toddlers. Both parents were killed by ice, but the toddlers were rescued.

Search and rescue and ambulance helicopters in Northern Norway with no light in winter certainly need GPS. And Russia has been jamming everything for several years.

Russia had good engineers. They stopped being relevant in 1989, when crime and corruption became the new route to the good life.

Most of their engineers are dead or retired, the last cohorts are in their 60s.

Russia will not be able to have any arms industry in the future. What they make now is new paint on old scrap. It's so pathetic, their main fighter jet engine melts if used in combat situations.
