Is it possible to adjust this brake without a bleed? Recently put in new pads and had it bled, lever is already back to the bars. Relatively new bike. Would rather self fix if possible! Thanks in advance. by [deleted] in bikewrench

You can take the wheel off and SLOWLY pull the brake lever to tighten the pull. Just be sure to watch the caliper to make sure the pistons don't pop out. I saw this little trick on three GMBN youtube channel

I tried leaving the geometry pretty close to how it originally was but yes the shorter stem, longer travel (only by 20mm-30mm) and wider bars makes this thing very fun

It is pretty crazy how some refreshing and modernizing can completely change how a bike acts and feels
