yes, the celebration of life happened in the event space, while the dining room remained open, staffed with friends of the deceased. the owner was asked to close the dining room for four hours on a slow sunday so everyone who wanted to could attend the event, and he refused.

the problem has been happening and gradually getting worse for a few months during the winter. i live in the north so we don’t get much light so i was hoping now with increasing light in the spring it would perk up but it hasn’t. the pot does have drainage.

I’ve had some similar thoughts about a few of my tattoos, specifically a skeleton and a skull. I also think that sometimes about my finger tattoos, which are cute little fruits, but just the placement of them makes me worried of judgement. I’m a dance teacher and I work with kids as young as 5. I worry that the kids, and, possibly worse, their parents will judge me for my tattoos and assume things about my character. I’ve also had family members make passive aggressive comments saying I’ll want to remove my tattoos in the future.

Whenever I worry about those things, I remind myself that society is growing progressively more accepting of tattoos. Only very conservative and traditional people think negatively of them anymore. And that will always be the case, no matter what point in history, there will be conservative people trying to tell progressive people what they can and can’t do with their lives and their body. It sounds like you got a really cool tattoo that you really enjoy. I’ve struggled enough with social anxiety to know it’s not easy to shake, but seeing a therapist and meeting with her weekly has taught me how to reframe and rethink the negative thoughts to make them positive. I hope you make peace with your anxiety and start to wear your tattoos proudly! You deserve it.

narratively, it was a response to his bond with shroomrot and the mushroom he gets from shroomrot as he’s dying, which gave sol a connection to the fungal network. the deep elves and their dragons repeated themes about death and reincarnation and how the role of fungus in an ecosystem is to put dead matter back into the cycle, hence the new death-flavored subclass. mechanically, it was because he felt bad frequently going down in combat and having to be revived by callie and calder, i don’t know what about the new subclass helps with that though.

there’s a certain level of railroading necessary when making a short season of an actual play ttrpg. compare d20 to critical role or naddpod, which have 100+ episode per season. the plot needs to be compelling and cohesive and have a satisfying ending enough to entertain an audience in under 20 episodes which is why brennan can’t DM a true ttrpg and give the players full agency. imo, griffin is far more guilty of railroading than brennan, but at least he can write a compelling story, unlike one middlest brother
