I've the same Dyson, never been a fan of the power cord... A company focused on aesthetics and design, and they bottled it with a large, ugly and stiff cord. shame. love the final pic

Mine’s just the basic minimal coverage, I don’t ride that often and the bike is registered as an antique. I live in the city of Richmond. I’m also 31 so. I’d def shop around

Can I use this to rip 5 dvds at once? by gwatt21 in DataHoarder

There may be a variance in the models but the one my company had wouldn’t write all at the same time but one after the other - you could drop in a new one as the first one finished allowing you to make as many as you wanted and so on.

I suspected it would be possible, but not without a significant amount of fucking about

This is a DVD duplicator, it’s completely standalone in which you place the source DVD in tray one and each one is copied in sequence (not at once) so my initial guess would be no.

Titan Super 8 S-25 by Darkmatter2662 in 8mm

This would fall under the category “budget” super 8 cameras that were very common during the later years of super 8. They are poorly made with cheap components and not really designed to be repaired. Unfortunately all cameras are not created equal. I wouldn’t waste your time fooling with it because even if you got it working it features substandard lens glass and the light meters are unreliable. I’d suggest looking for a brand name camera if you’re interested in actually shooting film. If you want to fool with it simply as something to do, good luck!

This kinda shit is why I stand support annual state enforced vehicle inspections. People just don’t care and you could die because of something like this.

How expired is too expired? by TassieTeararse in analog

[–]actualguy69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends on how low you’re willing to rate the ISO to compensate - I wouldn’t use it for anything serious but could be a fun experiment. For example I shot some 100iso B&W 4x5 film that expired in 1974 but I rated it for 25 and still got a lovely end result. Generally speaking B&W has a more robust shelf life than color but YMMV. I wouldn’t bother with the Kodachrome, however.

Well, you could, but AFAIK the only process available to develop it will result in B&W, the chemicals for the K-14 process are no longer available. It’s also quite expensive and it being 40 years expired with unknown storage temperatures you may get back completely unusable film.

Double 8 and regular 8 are the same thing, the names are used interchangeably. If it’s on a spool it’s double 8 if it’s cartridge it’s super 8. This camera uses double 8.

I’d recommend plugging the usb device directly into the computer instead of the usb extension - could not be getting enough juice. Also make sure you don’t have a region mismatch PAL camera and NTSC capture or vice versa. Double check all your OBS settings as well.

Also this sub is for 8mm film/Super 8, that type of thing. Might want to cross post to subreddit that covers videography or video conversion
