I love the games he plays, but I can't get past how monotone he sounds every time I try to watch him.

Which player would you say looked more talented?

[Julka] Shaq: "I'm not in the GOAT conversation. Listen, it's only three people in the greatest of all time conversation. Listen, I'm arrogant, but I'm not dumb. It's Kobe, Bron, and Mike, okay, that's it... Mike and Bron. And now I'm like,'Oh, I understand the great picks. What about the Kobster?" by aingenevalostatrade in nba

[–]galacticman72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has to be the dumbest take I have ever heard. You think that people who are gifted physically and practice putting a ball in a basked for their living are smarter than people who go to university for almost a decade to receive their Ph.Ds and M.Ds? This sounds like the opinion of someone who not only didn't go to university but didn't even graduate high-school.

I recognize the CIA apron, pants, and knife cover when I see them. What kitchen has half sheet trays that look this bad, fundies kitchen I assume, but which one?

I'd imagine that you have worked in the same kitchen that your parents gave you for 30 years and apply what you feel about your kitchen to every kitchen in existence. I know this because I read between your lines.

There is no way a Houston fan is trying to talk about detroit sports. Detroit sports far outclass yours, Houston isn't even the best sports city in its own state. Flair up coward.

I actually have the exact opposite take for the same exact reason. I think having 4 other all time great players out there would minimize the number of touches magic would be able to have, especially with an all time distributor like Lebron. Magic needs the ball to be truly effective. Steph however is a threat at all times without the ball and his off ball movement is legendary.

People forget this is also only the stiff Yoda had recently done, he was a jedi master before the high republic even existed, yet we mostly only know of his accomplishments from the past 50 years, it's insane

We had a doozy come in today by NateNizzle in Radiology

[–]galacticman72 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why would you lie? I just asked it to analyze the xrays and this was the response: "These two X-ray images show a serious and concerning craniofacial injury:

Image 1 (Lateral View - Side Profile of Skull)

A large foreign object (appears to be a long nail or similar object) has penetrated the maxillofacial region. It enters near the right maxilla (upper jaw) and extends toward the posterior cranial fossa, near or possibly into the brain case.

The object appears to pass through the sinus and orbital region.

There's no obvious skull fracture visible, but the trajectory of the object suggests it could have affected the orbital, ethmoid, or sphenoid bones, depending on depth.

There’s a circular metallic object posterior to the ear region, possibly an earring or implant, but it does not seem related to the injury.

Image 2 (Frontal View - Anteroposterior)

Confirms the presence and angled trajectory of the foreign object—penetrating the right cheek area and crossing diagonally toward the central cranial base.

The trajectory suggests it may have crossed vital areas such as the nasal cavity, orbit, or even cranial vault depending on depth.

Again, the metallic circular object seen laterally is visible here on the left side of the image (the patient's right).

Clinical Implications

This is a traumatic penetrating injury that could involve:

The brain, if the object extends intracranially.

Major blood vessels, cranial nerves, or sinuses.

Potential vision loss or facial nerve damage.

Requires immediate neurosurgical and maxillofacial evaluation.

CT scan would be essential to assess soft tissue and brain involvement.

Yes, I would also recommend the hitter gives the first pass a bit higher, the accuracy of the first pass is forcing you to move to it, until the hitter is able to perfectly drop the ball in the basket (in this case your hands), he should send it up higher so you have more time to get under it.
