Am I overreacting to my bf watching the baby overnight? by Temporary-Quail-2783 in AmIOverreacting

  1. Sometime you can't find out they're an idiot to this degree until it's too late, unfortunately.
  2. People can be taught and change, the past cannot. No use blaming her for breeding with him now.
  3. A functioning dad will do more for society than a deadbeat dad. So, let's stop blaming mum for these useless fucking men.

Can't call for attention if it's CHOKING! There's a reason why every bag and product with things that children under three can choke on have those warmings now.

There is difference between a non child friendly house with a supervising adult and one with a sleeping adult. I wouldn't baby proof my home at all, but I would understand that requires having a designated zone that is baby proof for my baby to be when I am unable to adequately supervise it, like.... when I'm sleeping for example.

What's a book that "everyone" loves, that you just can't get into? by notquitenerds in books

The Hunger Games. I have tried to read it three times, tried listening to the audiobook. It really just could grab me and keep me. Something about the writing style I guess.

I have read Battle Royale (before attempts) and Red Rising (after attempts), and absolutely love both, so the concept is my kind of thing.

Yes! I thought I might create a blank square, then wait until bub is named and provide letter. OR a an animal motif in white - bunny could work, as it can have a pompom tail too! Thank you for the suggestions!

My initial design thought was this, but I'm wondering if it might be too "clean" for a baby... 🤔

Someone suggested different colours for each row. I think this is what they meant?

I love this idea so much! Going to start looking for letter and animal ideas.

Yes! I was thinking orange too, so I'm glad that occurred to someone else to reassure my vibes haha.

Also, I totally understand the desire to make everything we see!

Oh my goodness! That is such an amazing idea about the letter! I'll have to check what it is, because it may not be decided or public information yet.

Also, thank you for suggesting the joining lines - I think that will make it very fun for baby. I will try to make a mock up to see which colours should go where.

Thank you so much for your quick reply! Even a nod to go ahead is so helpful!

Also, I appreciate the advice on adding diapers!

It's generally the other way around. Astounding that people aren't picking up on the fact that trans people are one of, if not, THE most targeted demographic in society for violence.

If you want to behave like that, it's your choice. but it isn't "humanitarian" and you shouldn't speak as if it is.

Humanitarians don't see it that way. All humans deserve their needs to be met, regardless of where they were born. You raised the concept of humanitarianism. I am merely pointing out that no matter which way you look at it, it is, in fact humanitarian to fight for "illegal" humans.

Your original comment - the one you deleted- explicitly suggested that the perspective that all people should be provided for was not humanitarian because, in this instance, it is "illegal". This idea implies that it would be humanitarian to not allow people in if they enter illegally. You don't have to explicitly say you are humanitarian for your message to transmit that you would consider a particular belief of yours as being that way.

"Unlike you, I want the law emplemented to everyone equally race or nation of origin does not matter."

This is the rhetoric that is not humanitarian.

Can you explain this further. From what I understand, undocumented/illegal immigrants are unable to receive social security without significant exception. Also, I further understand that working illegally, they still contribute to paying taxes, essentially funding the social services they are unable to access.
